    Most people think long-term relationships are meant to feel stable, consistent, and easy once you’ve “made it.” Real intimacy doesn’t work like that. In this episode, I weave the truth of sixteen years in relationship—the living, breathing, imperfect reality of choosing the same person across many lifetimes of change—into a deeper conversation about the seasons all relationships inevitably move through. I share what it’s actually been like to love one person through multiple versions of myself. Through seasons of deep desire and devotion. And through seasons of disconnection, fatigue, rupture, resentment, grief, motherhood, identity loss, and becoming someone I didn’t yet recognize.
