Unexpected Breech ~ Home Birth

After a drastic lifestyle change in favor of holistic health, Anne and Jeff had no idea that the beautiful home birth they had planned would turn upside-down . . . literally. But when baby’s rump started to appear and labor intensified, they had to make a quick decision. Did they call a transport to the hospital and go in for an emergency C-section, or did Anne deliver her baby at home as she had hoped and dreamed? Listen to the podcast or read below to find out how their team handled an unexpected breech birth. Learn more about them with the links below! Silent Grief ~ Infertility and Loss

You’re trying for your first baby. You’re hopeful. You’re excited. But when test after test comes back negative, the hope starts to disappear, and worry sets in. Am I the problem? Is it him? Will we ever get to build a family together? Then, that first test comes up positive . . . only to end in a miscarriage. It’s the grief that nobody sees, the loss that no one knows. Yet, 1 in 5 women experience infertility, and 1 in 8 pregnancies end in a miscarriage. On today’s episode and blog, my friend Amanda Piatek shares her own journey through infertility and loss. She gives a message of hope — and of surrendering control — in a situation that felt anything but hopeful. Learn more about them with the links below!
