Welcome back to Nottingham Hospitals' Radio Sport (Football) Weekly Highlights Show. We've missed you, and I hope you've missed us, but don't worry as the new domestic football season is back, and so are your favourite NHR commentators, and some new ones too, to bring you highlights from all the action at Notts County and Nottingham Forest that the NHR Sports Team have covered for the staff and patients at the QMC and City Hospitals. On this week's episode we have just the one game, with the Carabao Cup first round tie kicking off the football fixtures, with Notts County travelling to Turfmoor, to take on Burnley. Your commentators for the game are Julian Kiddy and Richard Smith.

Only one game on this week's show. For the first time since the 2014-15 season, Notts County kicked off a league season in the English Football League One. They face another team from the East Midlands, in leicester City. A team that only 3 seasons ago were playing in the Premier League, whilst The Magpies entertained team from the National League. With commentary from Meadow Lane, on this occassion, it's Rod Smith and Richard Smith.
