Learn how to have fun when you travel

You can know someone for 10 years and still learn more about them in 4 days of travel than you did the whole decade. This week, Christan and Tarrah break down exactly how friend trips go from "let's make memories" to "we're not speaking anymore" and how to make sure yours doesn't. We're talking budgets, Type A vs. Type B travel personalities, the "fourth roommate" dilemma, romantic boundaries when someone's single and flirting, safety on the road, and the small stuff that quietly ruins big trips. Plus: our take on why grace might be the most underrated travel accessory you own. If you've got a trip on the calendar with your girls (or you're still recovering from the last one), this episode is your pre-flight checklist. ✈️ In this episode: Why you should ask "are we actually friends?" before you even bookThe Type A / Type B travel breakdown (and how to use both to your advantage)How to split costs without splitting the friend groupProtecting each other when romance enters the chatThe safety conversation every trip needs before you landWhy letting the small stuff go saves the big memories New episodes weekly. Learn How to Forgive Today!

Forgiveness isn't always a feeling. Sometimes, it's a decision you have to make over and over again. In the Season 6 finale of the Friendship University Podcast, we're talking about what forgiveness really looks like when you've been genuinely hurt. We explore why holding onto offense can affect your friendships, your peace, and even your relationship with God and why forgiveness doesn't necessarily mean restoring the relationship to what it once was. In this episode, we discuss: What it means to live in "forgiveness mode"Why forgiveness is a lifestyle, not a one-time decisionThe difference between forgiveness and reconciliationHow to forgive someone who hasn't apologized or made amendsWhy you sometimes have to forgive yourself, tooHow holding onto offense can affect the way you treat other peopleChoosing compassion and understanding instead of defensivenessWhat Jesus teaches us about forgivenessThrough biblical teaching and real-life friendship situations, we unpack why forgiveness is ultimately about releasing what happened to God instead of allowing the offense to continue controlling you. Key takeaway: Forgiveness doesn't mean what happened was okay. It means you choose not to remain trapped by what happened. 🎓 This week's homework: Write a letter to the person who hurt you—including yourself. Describe what happened, how it made you feel, and why it hurt. Then give the letter to God. How To Know When To Let Go

What do you do when someone you love keeps making the same mistakes? When you've given the advice, had the hard conversations, prayed for them, and tried everything you know to do but they still choose a different path? In this episode of the Friendship University Podcast, we're exploring one of the hardest parts of friendship: learning when to let go of the need to control someone else's decisions. We discuss: The difference between helping and controllingWhy love requires boundariesHow to support a friend without trying to save themWhat it means to trust God with the people you care aboutWhy consequences are sometimes part of the learning processHow to continue loving someone while allowing them to make their own choicesThrough biblical examples including Saul's transformation into Paul, the children of Israel demanding a king, and the story of the Prodigal Son, we explore how God gives us free will and what we can learn from His example when our friends choose a path we wouldn't choose for them. Key Takeaway: Letting go doesn't mean you stop caring. Sometimes it means trusting God to do what you cannot. 🎓 Homework: Core Belief Work Finish these three sentences: If I don't help/control, then ______.That belief might not be true because ______.A healthier belief is ______. This exercise will help you identify where you're carrying responsibility that was never yours to carry. If this episode encouraged you, share it with someone who may be struggling to let go and trust God's process. #FriendshipFridays #FRNDSU #HealthyFriendships #FaithJourney
