🧠 Manie - Psychische Krankheitsbilder erklärt - Welcome to the mess #63

🌀 How I fell for the new spirituality coaches trap and why you shouldn't - Welcome to the mess #62

Hello beautiful non-falling for traps because you are smarter than me people, I hope this episode finds you before self-help scammers do! Since I did a lot of online courses on Mental health and Spirituality in order to get well when I was feeling quite the opposite of well I thought I would share my experience. Many of the courses were really helpful and a useful second resource next to my therapy sessions. Others made me fall into obsessive self-optimization, self-blame and left me sadder than I was before. That was, in my opinion, due to some coaches or spiritual gurus caring more about making money and creating huge businesses than actually helping people in despair. What this episode is about: 🌀My personal experience with online courses and how they influenced me in positive - as well as negative ways 🌀 Lack of accountability from coaches/gurus, putting the blame on the clients/customers 🌀 What I learnt when I tried to become a Coach myself and how it negatively impacted me. Keep in mind that this is my Just Talking format - I am expressing my own opinion, yours might be different and that is okay! I would like to hear your opinion in the comments, especially if you disagree. Viewing all kinds of content, including my own critically, is what helps us grow and expose scam. Two disclaimers: 1) I mention s*icidal attempt once, I don't go into detail but if hearing the word triggers you, don't watch this episode. 2) My card was full at around minute 16 so almost half of the video is missing... I did put in a nice sunset I got to watch in Mexico though, so that's something. The audio stays crispy. Sorry for that, working on getting better... :( Here are two videos, that treat the topic very well in my opinion: The Dark World of New Age Gurus | Documentary:https://youtu.be/yyktccr5apU?si=uEFZY8l1HYeFjsHTWenn Spiritualität und Life-Coaching zum Scam wird: https://youtu.be/8kGJXINzEFU?si=XEbeyFO-DwKoddWg I hope you liked this episode! If you did, leave me a like, subscribe and share it with your friends. I am on Instagram and Youtube too: https://www.instagram.com/little_happy_mess/ https://www.youtube.com/@little_happy_mess Stay open but critical and don't believe everything people (including me) tell you! Lots of love, Nina
