Today’s 11/7 episode -‘The Weary Warrior’ arrived on a day when my almost 93 year old mom is very close to the end of her amazing life. She lived life on her own terms-left her small Illinois town to go west, owned a horse, helped her divorced sister with 3 babies, met and married my sailor dad. She had a long career with the phone company-with many co-workers who admired her, wonderful mom to 2 kids, mom to numerous rescue dogs, was a cherished friend, cared for my dad & grandparents at the end of their lives. She traveled-especially by car. Lived in her own home, drove until she was 92. That this episode showed up today is a God thing!!!

These are especially encouraging to me when in the middle of the day when I am coming home from being out or when I am hitting a cash point in my day and need some encouragement to keep going to Jesus to finish my day well. You will love them!
