In the middle of a global pandemic, my family decided to risk it all and follow our teenage son Ellis's passion for racing, leaving everything behind in the US and heading to Europe.     Sandwiched between two race weekends, the moment arrived that we all knew was inevitable. Grandfather passed away on August 1st, 2023.
