    Meet Sabrina, a woman who has Conquered A.S. by going Starch-free

    Meet Sabrina, a woman who conquered A.S. by going on a starch-free diet. In April, I posted a poll on my LWAS Instagram story asking if anyone knows if it's possible to put Ankylosing Spondylitis into remission using natural methods (ie. without use of drugs). Sabrina messaged me that she had done exactly that while waiting 6 months to see the only rheumatologist in her small town. She went from being in a miserable and debilitating state to resuming her normal life and activities within a few weeks of cutting starch from her diet. Sabrina has kindly put together a list of resources from starch-free recipes, a Facebook support group, success stories, a book, and research.
