    Sarah Morgan Ashey has a perfect face for soaps.

    @NoSuggestionPod is privileged to be graced with the presence of one of NYC's most delightful improvisors, actor, teaching artist, entrepreneur, baker, and improv comedian, Sarah Morgan Ashey (@sarahashey). Guest co-hosts Jake Joseph (@f00lish_b0y), and Kate O'Neill Martino (@indiequeen14), and Ralf, have a blast chatting with Sarah about everything from gums of the 90's, to Paul Giamatti, to the tale of Sarah's fancy haunted couch. Amidst all this, Sarah tells us the story of how she started her wonderful Kolache bake shop in Bushwick/Ridgewood, on 321 Starr Street, Kings Kolache (@kingskolache)⁠.     Starting a new series where I have on some of my favorite past @NoSuggestionPod guests and we have a chat about what we've learned, big and small lessons, in any and all parts of life, and those lessons and stories turn into absurd improv comedy. It's my pleasure to be joined this week by Elann Danziger (@danceathonelann) and Rich Templeton (@richhunttemp) this week. Our trio gets to talking about everything from the surveillance state, patience, adulting, car maintenance, and more.     Abby Pierce has an iron gut.

    Such a special episode of @NoSuggestionPod this week as we welcome a former colleague I really admire, actor, filmmaker, midwesterner, teacher, mentor, advocate, twin sister, and improv comedian, Abby Pierce (@plainoldabby). There's so much to talk to Abby about, and co-host Aston Hollins (@astonhollins), guest co-host Alex Sanchez (@alboogieeee), and I really have a blast learning all about Abby's fascinating journey. We learn a little about her job working for the legendary non-profit Drama Club (@dramaclubnyc), what it's like to be a twin, how Proactiv stains towels, how the two excellent short films Abby's just made (@soboom_runitback) are doing the rounds on the film circuit, how those films were inspired by her work with Drama Club, and how Abby's training at the legendary Piven theater prepared her for the work she's doing now. And that actually only scratches the surface of what we find to talk about with Abby. Amidst all of that, we also do a ton of hilarious improv with Abby, including a scene that details the origins of one of America's most iconic chefs. This episode really blows my mind.     This week on @NoSuggestionPod we have a rare treat, a one-on-one hang with my friend, classically trained actor, professor, member of the legendary Astronomy Club (@astronomyclubcomedy), Bay area native, and comedian, Shawtane Bowen (@champagnetaneinc). Shawtane and I have a beautiful hang for an hour and chat about everything from Phil Jackson, to Sauce Walka, to lone wolves, to The Last Dragon. We check in with one another, and do what we do best, which is dial in on some real talk. We also do a lot of ridiculous improv scenes, including scene about a two bros on camping trip gone awry. It's such a privilege to hang with Shawtane. We really get where each other is coming from, and we have so fun to doing improv together.
