#207 God Uses Hidden Seasons To Refine You

Send us Fan Mail Unseen does not mean unchanged. I’m talking about “development in secret,” that hidden season where God is doing deep work while the people around you can’t track the progress, can’t relate to the shift, and sometimes can’t even access what He’s building. If you’ve been feeling overlooked, misunderstood, or like your growth is happening in the dark, this message is your reminder that diamonds form underground and silver is refined by fire. Psalm 66:10 puts language to it: God proves us and tries us as silver is tried, and that process is meant to strengthen, not destroy. We get practical about what refinement looks like in real life: discipline that doesn’t lead to burnout, serving with faith without trying to carry everyone, and learning to show up vibrant instead of worn out. I also walk through alignment, trust, and obedience, because you don’t always know what’s on the other side of your “yes” until you step through the door. The goal is to move with God, not against Him, and let Him cut away what costs you without helping you grow. You’ll also hear a clear update on where to find everything going forward. I’m simplifying platforms and putting my content in one place so you can watch and listen globally, anytime, on the God’s Diamond Network YouTube channel, including live recordings, morning motivation, and more teachings to come. Subscribe, share this with someone who feels hidden right now, and leave a review telling me what God is developing in you. A journey through spiritual refinement, identity, healing, and growth, learning how pressure produces purpose and reveals the diamond within. An invitation to come and be a part of what God is building here at God's Diamond Network.  We don't have to go at it alone; this is where we will grow together. A Christ-centered journey of reset, refinement, and realignment, helping you confront darkness, heal deeply, and walk boldly in your God-given identity and purpose. #206 When Pressure Hits, We Choose God

Send us Fan Mail They told Peter and John to stop speaking the name of Jesus, and their answer still confronts us today: we cannot stay silent about what we’ve seen and heard. We sit in Acts 4 and talk honestly about what happens when faith meets pressure, when people try to threaten you into shrinking, and when you have to decide who you’re going to obey. If you’ve been tempted to hold back just to keep the peace, this conversation is your reminder that comfort is not the goal, conviction is. We also go deeper than hype and get practical about fear vs faith. We pray the Acts 4 prayer for boldness, talk about why opposition can be part of the refining process, and unpack what “be still and know” really looks like when life demands movement. Faith without works is dead, so we challenge the habit of calling fear “waiting on the Lord” and ask what step God is telling you to take right now. We even revisit Peter walking on water, because the moment you shift your focus from Jesus to yourself is often the moment you start to sink. Then we close where Acts 4 closes: unity, “great grace,” and radical generosity where nobody lacks. Barnabas leads by example, and we ask what stewardship and real church community should look like today when someone near us has a need. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs boldness, and leave a review so more people can find these Bible study conversations. 3. #205 Waiting For The Promise Live On LTLT

#205 Waiting For The Promise Live On LTLT

Send us Fan Mail A storm rolls in while we’re reading Acts, and it turns into a living illustration of what Scripture has been saying all along: God can move through disruption, not just calm. We start in Acts 1 by setting the context for the Book of Acts and why Luke’s writing still matters for believers who want clarity, courage, and real spiritual growth, not just religious routine. We walk through Jesus’ instruction to stay put and “wait for the promise of the Father,” then talk about what it means to be baptized with the Holy Ghost. We also address a question many people carry quietly: is speaking in tongues the only proof of being saved? We share a grounded, faith-forward perspective that keeps the focus where Acts keeps it: receiving power to be witnesses, not performing to impress people. From the ascension to the upper room, from Judas’ tragic end to Matthias stepping into leadership, we watch God build a church that learns as it goes. Then Acts 2 hits with “suddenly” and Pentecost comes alive, with wind, fire, and Spirit-led utterance that draws a crowd and invites both amazement and mockery. That tension feels familiar when your life starts shifting and people watch to see if you’ll make it. We close with a simple, demanding takeaway: trust in the Lord with all your heart, expect God to do what He said, and move in obedience even without all the details. If you’re walking through change, needing direction, or praying for miracles in your body, finances, or family, this teaching is for you. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs encouragement, and leave a review with what you’re believing God for right now. #204 Refinement Through Philippians And The Peace Of God

Send us Fan Mail The hardest part of moving forward is that the past keeps trying to audition for the lead role in your next season. We open with prayer and then walk straight into Philippians 3, where Paul says he refuses to rehearse what’s behind him. That one decision becomes a blueprint for spiritual growth and Christian maturity: learn the lesson, drop the weight, and press toward what God is calling you to do, even when there’s resistance.  As we finish Philippians, we also talk about discernment and why Paul weeps over false teachers. When chaos is loud and opinions are everywhere, relationship with Christ is what trains your ear to recognize God’s voice. We keep it practical, from building a strong foundation to staying focused on heavenly citizenship instead of getting pulled into earthly thinking and spiritual pride.  Philippians 4 brings it home with daily faith practices that change your mental and emotional life: stand fast, pursue unity, rejoice, and trade anxiety for prayer with thanksgiving. We dig into what the peace of God looks like when you don’t understand what’s happening, and why “think on these things” is not a cute quote but a real strategy for renewing your mind. We close with Paul’s hard-earned lesson on contentment, gratitude for giving, and a reflection on refinement: what has God removed, and what has God grown in you?  If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs peace today, and leave a review so more listeners can find this Bible study on Philippians and spiritual refinement. #203 Why Obedience Creates Alignment

Send us Fan Mail Pressure has a way of making everything feel louder, harder, and more confusing, but we have learned it can also be the doorway to alignment. We kick off a new month theme focused on alignment and realignment, and we go straight to the engine behind it all: obedience. Not the forced kind, not the performative kind, but the willing decision to submit our thoughts, choices, actions, and desires to what God is saying, even when it is uncomfortable or does not make sense yet. We anchor the message in Proverbs 16:3: “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.” That single line connects two things we often separate: what we do and how we think. When we commit our works to God, He brings stability to our mind and helps establish clarity and direction. That is why we say alignment comes after pressure. Trials and tribulations can refine us, not ruin us, when we stop shaking our fist at God and start asking what He is forming in us. We also talk about what blocks alignment, especially unforgiveness. Unforgiveness does not stay contained, it grows roots that spread into other areas. Then we get practical: thoughts align with God’s truth, decisions with His wisdom, priorities with His purpose, and actions with His instructions. We close with journaling prompts that cut through excuses and help you name one step of obedience you can take today, plus a declaration to keep you grounded: “In obedience, I find clarity, direction, and alignment.” If this message meets you where you are, subscribe so you do not miss what is next, share it with someone who needs realignment, and leave a review so more listeners can find the show. #202 Pt 2 The Outcome Of The Process

Send us Fan Mail Wanting nothing sounds impossible until you realize it doesn’t mean owning everything, it means becoming spiritually complete. Michael Brown joins me again to finish our conversation on how God uses process, pressure, and patience to form identity in Christ. We sit with James 1:2-4 and talk about what it looks like to let patience do real work, the kind that builds endurance and quiet confidence when life keeps testing you.  We also go personal. We talk about tears as “healing waters,” why surrender is not weakness, and how living “spiritual paycheck to paycheck” leaves you unprepared when hard moments hit. Michael shares how substitutes like alcohol, drugs, and other coping mechanisms can’t fill the empty places, they can actually make the hole bigger. That opens the door to a deeper theme: refinement. We pray and believe for freedom from addiction and codependency, and we point everything back to a renewed mind and a life anchored in God’s truth.  To close, we leave you with journaling questions that help you trace your own growth: what did pressure produce, what did patience build, and what is God refining out of you right now? We also look ahead to alignment and realignment through Proverbs 16:3, because once God develops us inwardly, He starts aligning our steps outwardly. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review so more diamonds in the rough can find the show. #201 The Outcome of the Process Part 1

Send us Fan Mail Pressure can expose who we think we are and who we really are. We open James 1:2-4 and sit with the line that challenges almost everyone: “let patience have her perfect work.” I’m not talking about calm vibes or waiting politely. I mean biblical patience, staying under weight without quitting, while God builds something in you that you can’t fully see yet.  My husband, Michael, joins me as a special guest and gets honest about life before change: moving at record speed, wanting results immediately, and living on the edge because he didn’t know who he was. He shares a vivid story of a routine traffic stop that escalates into a felony stop, and how being judged by a last name can stir anger, pride, and survival mode. We also talk about generational patterns, the difference between changing a label and changing your content, and why new environments or even a new name don’t automatically remove the same internal battles.  From there, we connect identity formation to spiritual formation. We talk about how God uses relationships, desire, and calling to get our attention, and why “perfect work” requires presence, like training for a race. Michael shares how patience has produced real qualities over time, including less anger and deeper healing connected to grief after losing his father as a child. If you’ve been tempted to rush the process, this is your reminder that the outcome is not only what you receive, it’s who you become.  If this helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s in a waiting season, and leave a review so more people can find Diamonds in the Rough. What is patience developing in you right now? A journey through spiritual refinement, identity, healing, and growth, learning how pressure produces purpose and reveals the diamond within. 8. #200 Nothing Is Wasted In Refinement

#200 Nothing Is Wasted In Refinement

Send us Fan Mail Nothing feels more discouraging than pouring years into a season that still looks like loss. If you’ve been asking, “Was any of this for nothing?” we want to speak a clear word over your life: nothing is wasted. Not the tears. Not the delays. Not the quiet, unseen moments. Not the pressure that made you question everything. We anchor the message in James 1:2-4, where trials test faith and produce patience, and we talk honestly about what “count it all joy” actually means when life is heavy. We also lean into Romans 8:28 as a storm-season lifeline, reminding ourselves that hardship doesn’t equal abandonment and that God can be closer than you think. Along the way, we ask reflective questions that get practical fast: Are you cursing your process? What are you running to for relief? Which one wins inside you, spirit or flesh? You’ll also hear a simple journaling practice to strengthen your faith in real time: write an “I survived” list and name what God brought you through. We explore why delays can develop depth, why isolation can be part of God’s polishing, and why the process protects the promise, because shortcuts can cost you what you’re praying for. If you need encouragement for spiritual growth, patience under pressure, and trusting God in the refinement process, press play. Subscribe, share this with someone who’s in a hard season, and leave a review so more people can find the reminder that God wastes nothing.
