Inspired Word Of God

Marsha Singleton

The Inspired Word offers encouraging words through God's holy scriptures. It is important to teach God's truth and extend his reach following the doctrine of God that Jesus Christ taught his disciples. - Evangelist MarshaLuke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.(KJV)Matthew 28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Proverbs 16:18  Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.  Pro 29:23  A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.  Exodus 20:17 You must not covet your neighbor's house. You must not covet your neighbor's wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor. Exodus 20:16 NLT - You must not testify falsely against your neighbor. Proverbs 14:5  A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.  1John 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. Mark 9:23 "What do you mean, 'If I can'?" Jesus asked. "Anything is possible if a person believes."  Mark 9:24 The father instantly cried out, "I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matthew 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Ephesians 5:1-4 NLT Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.  Ephesians 5:2 Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.  Ephesians 5:3 Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God's people.  Ephesians 5:4 Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes-these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God. Ephesians 5:5 You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.  Ephesians 5:6 Don't be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the anger of God will fall on all who disobey him. Ephesians 5:7 Don't participate in the things these people do. Ephesians 5:8 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! "Fear Not, Maintain Your Faith"

Deuteronomy 1:28 NLT Where can we go? Our brothers have demoralized us with their report. They tell us, "The people of the land are taller and more powerful than we are, and their towns are large, with walls rising high into the sky! We even saw giants there-the descendants of Anak!"' Deuteronomy 1:29-36 NLT "But I said to you, 'Don't be shocked or afraid of them!  30] The LORD your God is going ahead of you. He will fight for you, just as you saw him do in Egypt.  31] And you saw how the LORD your God cared for you all along the way as you traveled through the wilderness, just as a father cares for his child. Now he has brought you to this place.'  32] "But even after all he did, you refused to trust the LORD your God,  33] who goes before you looking for the best places to camp, guiding you with a pillar of fire by night and a pillar of cloud by day.  34] "When the LORD heard your complaining, he became very angry. So he solemnly swore,  35] 'Not one of you from this wicked generation will live to see the good land I swore to give your ancestors,  36] except Caleb son of Jephunneh. He will see this land because he has followed the LORD completely. I will give to him and his descendants some of the very land he explored during his scouting mission.' Deuteronomy 1:37-40 NLT "And the LORD was also angry with me because of you. He said to me, 'Moses, not even you will enter the Promised Land!  38] Instead, your assistant, Joshua son of Nun, will lead the people into the land. Encourage him, for he will lead Israel as they take possession of it.  39] I will give the land to your little ones-your innocent children. You were afraid they would be captured, but they will be the ones who occupy it.  40] As for you, turn around now and go on back through the wilderness toward the Red Sea.' Numbers 20:1-13. Numbers 20:1-6,8-13 NLT In the first month of the year, the whole community of Israel arrived in the wilderness of Zin and camped at Kadesh. While they were there, Miriam died and was buried.  2] There was no water for the people to drink at that place, so they rebelled against Moses and Aaron.  3] The people blamed Moses and said, "If only we had died in the LORD's presence with our brothers!  4] Why have you brought the congregation of the LORD's people into this wilderness to die, along with all our livestock?  5] Why did you make us leave Egypt and bring us here to this terrible place? This land has no grain, no figs, no grapes, no pomegranates, and no water to drink!"  6] Moses and Aaron turned away from the people and went to the entrance of the Tabernacle, where they fell face down on the ground. Then the glorious presence of the LORD appeared to them,  7 and the LORD said to Moses, 8] "You and Aaron must take the staff and assemble the entire community. As the people watch, speak to the rock over there, and it will pour out its water. You will provide enough water from the rock to satisfy the whole community and their livestock."  9] So Moses did as he was told. He took the staff from the place where it was kept before the LORD.  10] Then he and Aaron summoned the people to come and gather at the rock. "Listen, you rebels!" he shouted. "Must we bring you water from this rock?"  11] Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with the staff, and water gushed out. So the entire community and their livestock drank their fill.  12] But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust me enough to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel, you will not lead them into the land I am giving them!" 13] This place was known as the waters of Meribah (which means "arguing") because there the people of Israel argued with the LORD, and there he demonstrated his holiness among them. 2Ki 6:17  And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.  Song: King Jesus Will Roll All Your Burdens Away by Kenneth Morris 1947 Pianist: Late Mrs. Loretta Ray Singer: Marsha Singleton Song:  "This Little Light of Mine"  Reference Credits: Edward G. "The Pride of Life"

Proverbs 3:7 Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil.  Proverbs 3:8 Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones. Daniel 4:27-33  27 King Nebuchadnezzar, please accept my advice. Stop sinning and do what is right. Break from your wicked past and be merciful to the poor. Perhaps then you will continue to prosper.'  [28] "But all these things did happen to King Nebuchadnezzar.  [29] Twelve months later he was taking a walk on the flat roof of the royal palace in Babylon.  [30] As he looked out across the city, he said, 'Look at this great city of Babylon! By my own mighty power, I have built this beautiful city as my royal residence to display my majestic splendor.'  [31] "While these words were still in his mouth, a voice called down from heaven, 'O King Nebuchadnezzar, this message is for you! You are no longer ruler of this kingdom.  [32] You will be driven from human society. You will live in the fields with the wild animals, and you will eat grass like a cow. Seven periods of time will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.'  33] "That same hour the judgment was fulfilled, and Nebuchadnezzar was driven from human society. He ate grass like a cow, and he was drenched with the dew of heaven. He lived this way until his hair was as long as eagles' feathers and his nails were like birds' claws. Daniel 4:34-37  34 After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal.  [35] All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop him or say to him, 'What do you mean by doing these things?'  36] "When my sanity returned to me, so did my honor and glory and kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored as head of my kingdom, with even greater honor than before.  37] "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud." You can read King Nebuchadnezzar’s story in the Book of Daniel Chapters 1-4. "Our Daily Walk"

Matthew 7:12 NLT Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. Exodus 20:12 NLT "Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the LORD your God is giving you. Exodus 20:3 not to have any other god but him. Exodus 20:4 not to make an image of anything in heaven or earth , or sea. Exodus 20:5 must not bow down to them or worship them. Children and Parents Ephesians 6:1-4 NLT Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do.  Ephesians 6:2 Honor your father and mother. This is the first commandment with a promise:  Ephesians 6:3 If you honor your father and mother, "things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth."  Eph 6:4  And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. ✨1 Thessalonians 4:3-12 NLT God's will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin.  4] Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor-  5] not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways.  6] Never harm or cheat a fellow believer in this matter by violating his wife, for the Lord avenges all such sins, as we have solemnly warned you before.  7] God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives.  8] Therefore, anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human teaching but is rejecting God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.  9] But we don't need to write to you about the importance of loving each other, for God himself has taught you to love one another. 10] Indeed, you already show your love for all the believers throughout Macedonia. Even so, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you to love them even more.  11] Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before.  12] Then people who are not believers will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others. 2 John 1:5-6 NLT 2 John 1:5 I am writing to remind you, dear friends, that we should love one another. This is not a new commandment, but one we have had from the beginning.  2 John 1: 6 Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning.  Matthew 22:36  Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Mat 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Mat 22:38  This is the first and great commandment. Mat 22:39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Mat 22:40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. "Living God's Doctrine pt3 The Book of Life"

2 John 1:9-11 NLT 9 Anyone who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God. But anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son.  [10] If anyone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don't invite that person into your home or give any kind of encouragement.  [11] Anyone who encourages such people becomes a partner in their evil work. Mat 12:46  While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. Mat 12:47  Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. Mat 12:48  But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? Mat 12:49  And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! Mat 12:50  For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. The Ten Commandments  Exodus 20:1-18 NLT 1 Then God gave the people all these instructions:  2] "I am the LORD your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.  3] "You must not have any other god but me.  4] "You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea.  5] You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected-even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me.  6] But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.  7] "You must not misuse the name of the LORD your God. The LORD will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.  8] "Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.  9] You have six days each week for your ordinary work,  10] but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the LORD your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you.  11] For in six days the LORD made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.  12] "Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the LORD your God is giving you.  13] "You must not murder.  14] "You must not commit adultery. [15] "You must not steal.  16] "You must not testify falsely against your neighbor.  17] "You must not covet your neighbor's house. You must not covet your neighbor's wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor."  18] When the people heard the thunder and the loud blast of the ram's horn, and when they saw the flashes of lightning and the smoke billowing from the mountain, they stood at a distance, trembling with fear. Rev 22:14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Rev 22:15  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Exodus 32:30-35 NLT The next day Moses said to the people, "You have committed a terrible sin, but I will go back up to the LORD on the mountain. Perhaps I will be able to obtain forgiveness for your sin."  31] So Moses returned to the LORD and said, "Oh, what a terrible sin these people have committed. They have made gods of gold for themselves.  32] But now, if you will only forgive their sin-but if not, erase my name from the record you have written!"  33] But the LORD replied to Moses, "No, I will erase the name of everyone who has sinned against me.  34] Now go, lead the people to the place I told you about. Look! My angel will lead the way before you. And when I come to call the people to account, I will certainly hold them responsible for their sins."  35] Then the LORD sent a great plague upon the people because they had worshiped the calf Aaron had made. Colossians 3:25 But if you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites. Psalms 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. Revelation 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. Rev 21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.  Matthew 7:13  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Mat 7:14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find  Psalms 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. Revelation 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. Rev 20:11  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Rev 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Rev 20:13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Rev 20:14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Rev 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Rev 3:5  He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.  1 John 5:3 Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome.  1John 5:4 For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. "Living God's Doctrine"

Revelation 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.  Revelation 2:13-16  13 I know that you live in the city where Satan has his throne, yet you have remained loyal to me. You refused to deny me even when Antipas, my faithful witness, was martyred among you there in Satan's city.  14] But I have a few complaints against you. You tolerate some among you whose teaching is like that of Balaam, who showed Balak how to trip up the people of Israel. He taught them to sin by eating food offered to idols and by committing sexual sin.  15] In a similar way, you have some Nicolaitans among you who follow the same teaching.  16] Repent of your sin, or I will come to you suddenly and fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Matthew 7:28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: Matthew 7:29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.  Matthew 23:28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. Mat 22:30  For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. Mat 22:31  But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, Mat 22:32  I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Mat 22:33  And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine. Rev 21:7  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Rev 21:8  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Rev 21:23  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Rev 21:24  And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. Rev 21:25  And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.   Rev 21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.  Song: King Jesus Will Roll All Your Burdens Away by Kenneth Morris 1947 Pianist: Late Mrs. Loretta Ray Singer: Marsha Singleton Song:  "This Little Light of Mine"  Reference Credits: Edward G.
