    Wisdom From Above

We also connect wisdom to readiness through the parable of the ten virgins. Eve wanted wisdom, but she reached for the wrong source. That’s where so many of us get tripped up today. Knowledge and wisdom are not the same, and not every voice that sounds confident is “from above.” James gives us a clear test for counterfeit wisdom versus wisdom from God that is pure, peaceable, gentle, full of mercy, and sincere.     Pray, Mama, Pray

    In this episode we go deep on why praying for your children can feel so hard. Prayer is holy work because it brings us into God’s light, and that light doesn’t just reveal what our kids need, it reveals what we’ve been carrying. If you’ve been stuck in mom guilt, regret, or shame about past parenting mistakes, I address the fear that those failures disqualify you. They don’t. The enemy wants you hiding, but Jesus invites you to come close, repent where you need to, receive healing, and pray freely again.     Christian Motherhood and the Power of Your Daily Witness

    I talk about why the most important work we do is believing in Jesus, and why everything else we do for God has to flow from that root. I also encourage you that your quiet witness at home matters for eternity, even when your children wander and you feel unseen.  • John 6:29 and the “work of God” as belief in Jesus  • the tension between wanting the best for our kids and not being able to make them believe  • salvation as the work of the Holy Spirit and our role as truthful witnesses  • witness as words backed by a consistent life, not just talk  • the gospel lived out in everyday discipleship at home  • hope for prodigals and why our children still know the way back  • asking God for wisdom to point our children to Jesus  If you send me a message through fan mail, unless you give me your email address, I can't respond.
