Episode 86: You Are A Sick Dude

Send us Fan Mail Episode 86 of Hard Pass Podcast is here, and we’ve got special guest Universallova in the building! We kick things off in our What’s Poppin segment, diving into Claressa Shields stepping into the booth to record a song for Papoose—and the rumors surrounding whether the love is real or just for show. From there, the conversation heats up as we debate whether Drake has truly been carrying hip hop for the past 15 years. Next, we get into a classic group showdown: OutKast vs Migos. Travey2x stands firm on OutKast, highlighting the legendary impact of Andre 3000 and what he brings to the duo. In our Confessions segment, South Cac Chuck delivers some hilarious stories you don’t want to miss before we circle back to the group debate—this time putting “Roses” head-to-head with “Bad and Boujee” to see which track really takes the crown. During Hard Pass / Hard to Pass Up, we react to a wild Instagram STFU challenge for some much-needed laughs. Then it’s Meme of the Week, featuring a couple arguing on a boat about what “fun” really means—something Chuck relates to a little too well. We wrap things up with announcements before jumping into our R&B and hip hop Questions of the Day, featuring 112 and Young Dolph, then close out another great episode. Thanks for watching! 2. Episode 85: The Heat Hold 83 It Really Bam

    MAR 20

Episode 85: The Heat Hold 83 It Really Bam

Send us Fan Mail Episode 85 kicks off with the “What’s Poppin” segment, and the takes are already all over the place. The guys dive into Jack Harlow’s new album Monica—Travey2x calls it a solid project and highlights “All Of My Friends,” while South Cac Chuck wastes no time giving it a brutal 0/10 . Next, they react to Machine Gun Kelly’s latest single “goddam,” with Travey2x showing love to the album and saying it’s still in rotation. Then things heat up as they discuss Charlamagne tha God claiming Future could appear on Drake’s upcoming project—Chuck thinks that’s a terrible move and even blames Future for fans turning on Drake in the first place. They also react to a viral pastor asking his congregation to bring in tax returns (yeah… it gets real), and wrap the segment by talking about Dwight Howard officially announcing his retirement. The “Confessions” segment returns with some wild stories, before the crew jumps into a debate sparked by Rory Farrell and Jamil Clay on Math Hoffa’s podcast—does Rick Ross really have better albums than Lil Wayne? Chuck agrees, but after pushback, both admit Wayne has a strong argument. In the “HARD PASS / HARD TO PASS UP” segment, they review CyHi the Prynce’s latest track “Bouncin off Me.” Travey2x thinks it’s a direct response to their previous criticism, and while both like the song, Chuck still isn’t fully sold. They also try out Paul Masson ICE—good, but according to Chuck, nothing beats the Peach. Then it’s time to talk hoops. The guys break down Bam Adebayo’s shocking 83-point performance and debate whether it lives up to the hype. They compare it to Kobe Bryant’s legendary scoring mentality, referencing a story about Kobe choosing integrity over chasing records. While Bam’s performance was impressive, they question how it happened and whether it takes away from the moment. They close things out with “Meme of the Week,” sharing some laughs, followed by announcements before wrapping up another episode. 00:00 Intro 00:19 South Cac Chuck Fun Fact 02:10 Travey2x Fun Fact 03:49 WHATS POPPIN  05:27 Jack Harlow ‘Monica’ album review  19:00 MGK ‘goddam’ single Review and album revisit 22:19 South Cac Chuck almost gave jack the n word pass  23:07 Charlamagne says future is on Drake “ICEMAN” 25:07 Should Drake and Future Squash it 28:37 Drake vs Kendrick in hindsight  32:30 Pastor tax return situation  36:27 Dwight Howard Retired and Baby mama blast him  39:31 CONFESSIONS  39:37 Travey2x Confession  43:35 South Cac Chuck Confession  49:04 Rory and Mal on math Hoffa “Wayne vs Ross” 52:57 HARD PASS/HARD TO PASS UP 53:03 CyHi Song ‘Bouncin off me’ REACTION  1:03:15 Paul Masson ICE review  1:07:43 our Thoughts on BAM 83 points 1:15:01 MEME OF THE WEEK 1:19:50 ANNOUNCEMENTS  1:23:06 OUTRO Support the show

  3. Episode 84: CyHi Not On J.cole Level

    MAR 12

Episode 84: CyHi Not On J.cole Level

Send us Fan Mail Episode 84 is PACKED with hip-hop debates, wild takes, and a little dark humor!  We kick things off reacting to Ray Daniels giving J. Cole his flowers for refusing to take the bait during the Kendrick Lamar vs Drake battle. But that conversation quickly takes a turn when Travey2x brings up CyHi the Prynce throwing shots at Cole. Is this the perfect moment for Cole to prove his kindness isn’t weakness and make an example out of CyHi?  South Cac Chuck strongly disagrees, arguing Cole shouldn’t even respond because CyHi isn’t on his level! The debate gets hilarious when Chuck jokingly says CyHi is on the same level as Lil’ Romeo and Lil Zane — and claims they might even be more accomplished!  The argument gets REAL. Next we break down the latest back-and-forth between T.I. and 50 Cent and discuss whether there’s a serious North vs South bias in hip-hop media. Are people afraid to admit 50 might actually be losing this one?  Then it’s time for our CONFESSIONS segment where we each reveal something personal from our lives.  After that we jump into HARD PASS / HARD TO PASS UP where we react to the internet going crazy over GloRilla’s sister (aka “Brorilla”) posting a risky photo that has everybody talking! South Cac Chuck jokes that he “licked his phone”  and Travey2x raises the question… did they plan the whole viral moment? We also react to a viral question: You have a 4-hour car ride and can only choose ONE rapper to ride with out of four options… who are you picking?  We break down our choices and the internet’s picks. To close things out we hit Meme of the Week, where South Cac Chuck brings one with some seriously dark humor.  Tap in for laughs, hip-hop debates, and unfiltered opinions! 00:00 Intro 00:42 South Cac Chuck Fun Fact 01:56 Travey2x Fun Fact 05:27 WHATS POPPIN 06:46 Ray Daniels praises J.Cole  10:17 CyHi Dissed J.Cole  27:47 The north biased towards 50 Cent vs T.I. 33:50 South Cac Chuck Says The South Will Sweep the North in verzuz  34:37 CONFESSIONS  42:12 Talk about Doing a Night out at The Triangle Vlog  42:57 HARD PASS / Hard To Pass Up 43:26 Brorilla moose Knuckle  44:37 Did Glo and Brorilla plan this all out? 47:00 Glorilla latest pics  51:27 4 hour Ride with 1 artist 1:00:59 MEME OF THE WEEK 1:03:11 OUTRO Support the show

  4. Episode 83: Im Not Goin Bout My Mama

    MAR 2

Episode 83: Im Not Goin Bout My Mama

Send us Fan Mail Episode 83 of Hard Pass Podcast is pure smoke from start to finish — and we’re not ducking any fades. We kick things off with the explosive back-and-forth between 50 Cent and T.I., diving deep into the Harris family drama and breaking down all the diss tracks. South Cac Chuck stands firm that T.I.’s “You Got the Right One” was the hardest response, while Travey2x argues that Domani stole the spotlight with “Ms. Jackson.” Bars were flying, opinions were louder — and we dissect it all. Then things heat up even more as we sit down with a passionate Tim Duncan fan to debate our viral and controversial take that the Spurs legend might be overrated. Yes, we said it. And yes… it gets intense. After that, we tap into our fan-favorite segment CONFESSIONS, where the honesty is raw and sometimes reckless. To close it out, we break down our Meme of the Week: a beautiful young lady asks the internet, “Would you rather have a 99 overall wife or a 99 overall ability to dunk?” We give our answers and read through the hilarious (and chaotic) comment section before wrapping up another wild episode. Tap in — Episode 83 is one you don’t want to miss. 00:00 Intro 00:44 South Cac Chuck Fun Fact 01:46 Travey2x Fun Fact 03:18 50 Cent vs T.I. and the Harris family  24:02 Debate with a Tim Duncan fan  1:21:33 CONFESSIONS of the day 1:26:59 Chuck feels a way about an off cam convo! 1:29:44 Meme of the week: 99 wife or 99 dunk 1:33:03 Outro Support the show

  5. Episode 82: Everybody Has Dyslexia

    FEB 25

    Episode 82: Everybody Has Dyslexia

Send us Fan Mail On this episode, the crew dives straight into the music, starting with A Boogie wit da Hoodie’s new EP Before Artistry. South Cac Chuck isn’t sold on the project, but Travey2x hears major upside and even throws out “Drake-level potential” when talking about A Boogie’s ceiling. Is that a reach or a real prediction? Y’all let us know. Next up, we break down Baby Keem’s latest album Casino. Travey2x feels like a few tracks sound like a bad Kendrick Lamar impression—but when Keem finds his own lane, it’s fire. His standout track? “No Blame.” He wanted more of that vibe across the album. South Cac Chuck, however, wasn’t feeling it at all and says the Kendrick similarities completely threw him off. Then things get heated. The fellas debate dyslexia after South Cac Chuck boldly claims he believes everyone has it in some form. Travey2x strongly disagrees, and the conversation turns intense. What do y’all think? In Hard Pass/Hard to Pass Up, we talk about Russell Westbrook’s wife receiving death threats over his on-court performance—where do we draw the line between fandom and foul behavior? Then we debate which R&B singer has the best “face card” based on a photo presented. To top it off, we react to the viral 2K meme featuring Drake—and it’s comedy. Out of nowhere, friend of the show Ken calls in with smoke for us over a video claiming Tim Duncan is overrated. He’s not holding back. We wrap things up but this isn’t over—stay tuned for next week’s full Tim Duncan debate with Ken. Episode 81: The Fall Off Is Inevitable

Send us Fan Mail We waste no time diving straight into J. Cole’s long-awaited album The Fall Off, breaking down our favorite moments, standout tracks, and—of course—the songs we could’ve done without. From there, things get spicy as we react to a DJ Akademiks clip teasing a track from Drake’s upcoming album Iceman, where Drizzy appears to send a subtle shot at J. Cole. Staying in Cole-related news, we unpack the surprising story of Cam’ron suing J. Cole and react to Cam’s explanation on why he felt it had to go that far. Then we switch gears and jump into our Confession of the Day segment, featuring a special voice note from friend of the show Stinky, sent in through Travey2x. Later, we break down Glorilla’s ongoing issue with her sister and try to make sense of how the situation got to this point. We also hit announcements, where South Cac Chuck drops a HUGE update on his motovlog journey. To wrap it all up, we close the episode with our Hip-Hop and R&B Questions of the Day. Episode 80: He Sold His Soul

Send us Fan Mail Episode 80 kicks off with us reacting to a leaked R. Kelly remix of Chris Brown’s “It Depends.” After loving the previous leak where R. Kelly jumped on “Residuals,” we had to be honest — this one just doesn’t hit the same. Travey2x and South Cac Chuck both agree that the Residuals remake was on a whole different level. From there, we tap into T.I.’s new record “Let Em Know.” While we both agree the song sounds really good, South Cac Chuck questions whether T.I. has reached a point in his career where he should show more growth and move away from some of the topics he’s known for. Travey2x pushes back, saying the vibe was so smooth he didn’t even notice T.I. was still on the “old stuff.” Next up, we get into Kai Cenat’s new clothing line and some mysterious leaked photos that may—or may not—be real. South Cac Chuck has strong opinions on this one, so grab your tin foil hats because the conspiracy energy is high . We then hit our Confessions segment, where we each reveal something about ourselves that most people don’t know. Things get deeper when we discuss Big Bank’s podcast take that “if everyone likes you, you’re fake,” which leads us into a long conversation about perspective vs. perception and how people really see you versus who you actually are. We close out the episode with Hip-Hop & R&B Questions of the Day to wrap things up the right way. The best duo out of Carolina doing what we do best.
