SilentLetters Speaks

Listening to “Silent Letters” describe her departure from Evangelicalism… she unpacks her journey in a way that is easy for listener to follow. Though she takes us through years of progression in detail, all while preserving the integrity of her actual church community. 👏🏽❤️

Thanks so much for sharing this. It was very insightful. I never heard this perspective before. I came of age in the 70’s and I grew up thinking that lighter skinned Blacks were prettier, and in my mind they carried themselves in that way. But that was probably because of how everyone around them treated them. This was a solid personal look at one piece of the challenge that we have with race in our society. Colorism is real! Very well done.
