    When The Charity Ride Feels Presidential

    Rocking The Road For A Cure Ride Recap

    Send us Fan Mail They told us we’d get a few escort vehicles for the Rock and Roll for a Cure breast cancer motorcycle run, then the day showed up with a wall of support: motorcycle cops, cop cars, and an escort that kept the whole ride moving safely and smoothly. With weather threatening rain and temps turning chilly, we talk through what still brought riders out and why a well-run charity ride on Long Island lives or dies by planning, safety, and trust.  We also get real about the messy parts of fundraising. A vendor complains about “losing money,” and it turns into a bigger point about what a benefit event is supposed to be. From there we hit the fun chaos: raffle prizes, the commander stacking wins, and the kind of surprise you can’t script, a rider who already bought a new bike gives away the raffle motorcycle on the spot.
