REPLAY: Have you lost your muchness?

I decided to revisit some of my previous episodes and this one has always stood out to me.  The understanding of how to find our muchness when we've been told we are too much or we have shied away for the comfort of others.  When I recorded this episode, I was still pretty scared of my own muchness. I was learning how to take up space, how to stop apologizing for being different, and how to just be me. And you know what's interesting? Almost a year later, I'm not nearly as scared of that anymore. I still have moments. I'm still figuring things out. But somewhere along the way, I started giving myself permission to be all the different parts of me. And I think that's why I wanted to share this one again. Because maybe you're still in that place where being yourself feels a little scary. Maybe you're just beginning to figure out what your muchness even looks like. So here's a conversation from a slightly different version of me. One who was still learning something I'm finally starting to understand. February is often called the month of love — but what if love isn’t just about who accepts us, celebrates us, or chooses us? In this episode of Soulful Wonderings, we reflect on the idea of being “too much” and how many of us learn to shrink ourselves in order to belong. Through personal stories, family dynamics, and the memory of losing — and rediscovering — our own “muchness,” we explores the difference between shrinking for acceptance and being mindful out of self-respect. This conversation is about learning when to take up space and when to hold it, not out of fear, but out of care. It’s an invitation to trust yourself enough to choose the room, protect what’s sacred, and remember that your muchness was never lost — it simply learned discernment. In this episode, we explore: What it really means to be “too much”How early conditioning teaches us to shrink to belongThe difference between self-abandonment and self-protectionWhy discernment is not the same as hidingHow trusting yourself becomes a form of self-love The Soulful Wonderings podcast is all about my journey into the world of healing, intuition, and spiritual discovery. As I find my place as a healer, psychic, teacher and creative, I am here to share my experiences and insights, in hopes of breaking down barriers between different spiritual perspectives. Personality, Crutch, or Excuse?

Personality or Crutch? When Self-Awareness Becomes an Excuse How often have you heard someone say, “That's just how I am”? Maybe they're blunt, stubborn, outspoken, sarcastic, or have a strong personality. Maybe you've even said it yourself. I know I have! But here's the question: When does understanding who we are become an excuse for behavior that isn't serving us or the people around us? In this episode of Soulful Wonderings, we're exploring the difference between recognizing our personality traits and using them as reasons we can't, or shouldn't, change. Our personalities are part of what makes us unique. But self-awareness isn't just about recognizing our traits. It's also about understanding how those traits affect our relationships, our choices, and our ability to grow. The question to consider: Is what I know about myself helping me grow, or giving me permission to stay exactly where I am? Because understanding who we are matters. But it doesn't mean that's all we can ever be. The Soulful Wonderings podcast is all about my journey into the world of healing, intuition, and spiritual discovery. As I find my place as a healer, psychic, teacher and creative, I am here to share my experiences and insights, in hopes of breaking down barriers between different spiritual perspectives. What Is Shadow Work

When people talk about spiritual awakening, it can sound like it’s all healing, rainbows, love and light. Nobody tells you about the shadow work. And yes… it’s about as fun as it sounds. 😂 In this episode of Soulful Wonderings, I am exploring the part of healing that doesn't always make it onto the spiritual-awakening brochure: looking at the pieces of ourselves we'd really rather not look at. Shadow work is rooted in the idea of bringing the hidden, rejected or unconscious parts of ourselves into awareness. And while that can mean confronting anger, jealousy, insecurity, fear and old patterns, our shadows aren't necessarily filled only with the “bad” stuff. Sometimes we've hidden our creativity, confidence, sensitivity, desires and other parts of ourselves because somewhere along the way, we learned they weren't acceptable. Shadow work isn't about finding everything that's wrong with you and fixing it. Sometimes it's simply being willing to get curious about what's there, where it came from, and whether you still need it. And sometimes, when you start opening those boxes you've shoved into the basement, you don't just find the things that hurt. You find pieces of yourself. A question to sit with: What part of yourself have you learned to hide—and what might happen if you got curious about why? Stay curious. The Soulful Wonderings podcast is all about my journey into the world of healing, intuition, and spiritual discovery. As I find my place as a healer, psychic, teacher and creative, I am here to share my experiences and insights, in hopes of breaking down barriers between different spiritual perspectives. The Middle (Part 5): Remembering

What if becoming who you’re meant to be isn’t really about becoming someone new at all? What if it’s about remembering who you’ve been all along? In this episode of Soulful Wonderings, we are returning to the The Middle series to explore an idea that stopped me in my tracks: maybe the person we’re trying so hard to become is already there—buried underneath years of expectations, responsibilities, experiences, and all the rules we’ve collected about who we’re supposed to be. From past lives, purpose, and the patterns that seem to follow us through life to the little kid who could turn a stuffed cat into a dragon, this episode asks what might happen if we stopped trying to invent a new version of ourselves and started looking for the pieces we've forgotten. What is Divination

I'm pretty sure the first time I heard the word divination and actually paid attention was in Harry Potter — complete with shawls, beads, crystal balls and some very dramatic predictions. But what is divination really? And is it all that different from intuition... or even being psychic? In this episode, we're exploring the many ways people have used tools to seek guidance — from tarot and oracle cards to pendulums, runes, charms, bones, candle wax and more. We'll talk about why these tools can be especially helpful when you're learning to trust your intuition, why two people can look at the same card and notice completely different things, and why using a tool doesn't necessarily mean the tool itself is giving you the answer. Maybe it's giving your intuitive mind something to interact with. We'll also explore why the word psychic can feel so uncomfortable, the difference — or perhaps the blurry line — between intuition, psychic ability and divination, and one question worth considering: Are the cards talking to us, or are they giving us permission to listen? The Middle (Part 4): Becoming

I'm not sure any of us ever really "arrive." Most of life is lived in the middle—between who we were and who we're becoming. In this episode of Soulful Wonderings, we take a personal look at what becoming has looked like in my own life. From people-pleasing and never quite fitting in to navigating spirituality, intuition, family, work, and everyday life, we explore what it means to slowly uncover the person who has been there all along. Together, we'll talk about:  Why growth often feels messy and confusing  Learning to reconcile different parts of yourself  Why becoming isn't about changing into someone new  The importance of trusting your own intuition  Avoiding the trap of replacing one form of conditioning with another  Giving yourself grace as your beliefs and perspectives evolve Whether you're healing, questioning old beliefs, starting a new chapter, or simply feeling like you're somewhere "in between," this conversation is a reminder that becoming isn't a destination—it's a lifelong practice of returning to yourself. Talking Quantum Hypnosis, Healing & Past Life Regression with CeCe Credeur

What if some of the answers you're searching for are already within you? In this episode, I'm joined by my friend CeCe Credeur of Insight with CeCe for a fascinating conversation about quantum hypnosis and how it can be used as a tool for healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. If you've ever wondered what happens during a past life regression—or if you've been curious but a little skeptical—this episode offers an honest, grounded look at the process. CeCe explains what quantum hypnosis is, what a typical session looks like, and the many ways people use it to gain insight into patterns, relationships, fears, and life experiences. I also share my own experience with a quantum hypnosis session, walking through what happened, what surprised me, and the insights I brought back with me. Whether you view these experiences as literal past lives, symbolic stories from the subconscious, or something else entirely, the conversation explores how they can become powerful tools for healing and understanding ourselves on a deeper level. The goal isn't to tell you what to believe—it's simply to invite curiosity and explore another path that some people have found deeply healing. If this conversation sparks questions or resonates with you, we'd love to hear your thoughts.
