Es el sitio con huellas de dinosaurios más importante del mundo, ya que contiene más de 5.000 huellas de 294 especies. La ciudad de El Alto está ubicada a 4.150 metros de altitud y es una de las localidades más pobladas del mundo a gran altitud: en ella viven alrededor de un millón de personas. En el corazón del altiplano se encuentra el Salar de Uyuni, considerado como el más extenso del planeta con una dimensión de 10.582 km2 (superficie similar al Líbano). El Lago Titicaca, ubicado entre Bolivia y Perú, se considera el lago navegable más alto del mundo, a unos 3810 metros sobre el nivel del mar. En la Isla del Sol, la más grande del lago, se encuentran varios sitios arqueológicos, entre los cuales está la “Roca Sagrada” o Roca de los orígenes. Según la leyenda es donde nacieron Manco Cápac y Mama Ocllo, los primeros Incas, hijos de los Dioses del Sol y de la Luna. En Bolivia la bebida nacional es el singani, un popular licor elaborado a partir de la destilación de vino de la uva moscatel de Alejandría o Muscat de Alejandría. Bolivia es uno de los mayores productores mundiales de quinua. Este grano ancestral se cultiva en este territorio desde hace más de cinco mil años, en tanto el país ha llegado a liderar el ranking de mayor productor mundial. En Bolivia, sobre todo en la parte andina del oeste del país, a la población le encanta seguir las tradiciones de challar todo: el auto, la casa, el negocio. La definición de challar en el diccionario es rociar el suelo con licor en homenaje a la madre tierra o Pachamama. Otro significado es festejar con comidas y bebidas la adquisición de un bien. Bolivia es el hogar de una de las cinco especies de delfines que solo se encuentran en agua dulce. El delfín de río boliviano (Inia boliviensis), también conocido como "bufeo boliviano", es la única especie de delfines presente en este país. El color de piel puede variar de color gris oscuro, blanco a rosado. Es decir, Puerto Rico es aún un territorio que se encuentra bajo la soberanía estadounidense. Aunque Puerto Rico es un territorio de EE. UU., La isla también tiene su propia bandera. Puerto Rico es el mayor productor de ron en el mundo: el 86% del que se vende en Estados Unidos proviene de la isla. El ron consolida a Puerto Rico como la capital mundial del ron. Tiene la única selva tropical en el sistema forestal de los EE. UU.  El Yunque en Puerto Rico. El bosque recibe más de 120 pulgadas de lluvia cada año. Es el lugar de nacimiento de la piña colada. Tenemos que agradecer a Puerto Rico por esta dulce mezcla de crema de coco, jugo de piña, ron blanco y hielo. La identidad de su verdadero creador sigue siendo una controversia sin resolver — tres bartenders diferentes aparentemente reclaman la invención — pero fue nombrada la bebida nacional de Puerto Rico en 1978. El coquí es una pequeña rana endémica de Puerto Rico y es uno de los símbolos más queridos de la isla. Su nombre proviene del característico sonido que emite en las noches: «co-quí». Es curioso porque el sonido «co» lo usan para repeler a otros machos, mientras que el «qui» es útil para atraer a las hembras. ¿Sabías que en Puerto Rico hay playas con bioluminiscencia? Existen pocas playas en el mundo donde se puede ver este increíble fenómeno y Puerto Rico cuenta con tres de ellas: Bahía Mosquito y Laguna Grande, en la isla de Vieques, y La Parguera, al oeste de Ponce. Cuando oscurece, el agua brilla con el movimiento, debido a la presencia de organismos bioluminiscentes, que crean un espectáculo natural sorprendente. Tiene la Navidad más larga del mundo.La isla es conocida por tener la Navidad más larga del mundo, una temporada que dura 45 días, la cual comienza el día después del Día de Acción de Gracias y termina a mediados de enero con el Festival de la Calle San Sebastián.
