    WALKIN HTX #12 Exploring Houston’s HOTTEST New Suburb, Tomball Texas (AMAZING)

    Are you wondering what it is like to live in Houston Texas? Well, this is the channel you need! We absolutely love this town and our #1 goal is to showcase every inch of the Houston Metro through our videos so you have a complete understanding of the best area that fits your lifestyle! In today’s episode I do a deep dive into Exploring Houston’s HOTTEST New Suburb, Tomball Texas (AMAZING). I went to Tomball as my son won on a tournament and it happen to be on that area. I drive back to Tomball and right in the area where they were building everything brand new. I was unbelievably shocked at how gorgeous and pretty some of these neighborhoods, these equestrian centers and you should see the new football field and stadium in the school's high school. We live up in Kingwood, that is in northeast section of Houston and we had to go over to Tomball. The coolest thing is now we got the 99 Parkway Tollway. Going from where we are at instead of dropping down to Beltway 8 and then back up now, I took the the 99 tollway straight to it, 70 mile an hour speed limit.  Tomball is an older, sleepier little town that is kind of getting tons of attraction lately, it's erupting, especially with the 99 tollway. But it's kind of like your country living at its finest. People moving to Houston are just want that country living space that Texas home the brick, some oak trees out front, but I don't want to be out in the middle of nowhere. There is new communities out there that I passed through and I'm telling you right now I almost pulled over and I almost shoot some videos of these peoples. There is a couple of new community of like acreage estates and these houses are the most gorgeous Texas homes. They've had huge shops with 14 foot garage doors so this one had their big boat and an RV. They had an acre and 1/2 beautiful lawn and grass, a pool, and horses. It is so awesome! Out there you'll find live big old cattle ranches and you kind of just have this Old Town feeling but now they got a bunch of the new stuff too and that's what I'm starting to learn. I'm from a little town in north Idaho before people moved there (they have a budget though), these stadiums are nothing shy of NFL stadiums of huge college stadiums. The most state-of-the-art, beautiful massive stadiums and Tomball actually just got a brand new high school out there too, so with more people coming, it is not super overcrowded or anything. Another thing is I knew some people personally live in Tomball. It is like the ultimate family life out there, very tight knit community. The schools and everything like you're going to meet people very quickly. The the kids are going to have incredible friends and just lots of community events. So if you're looking in some kind of that in Northwest section of Houston and with the new 99 tollway, you've got everything you need out there.  3-day Boot Camp is almost happening again! In today’s episode I do a deep dive into AVOID MOVING TO HOUSTON… Unless You Can Handle These 7 NEGATIVES. A lot of the questions that I get from my YouTube channel, I have a lot to do with things that people have heard or read about living in Texas. So we're going to talk about it. I love being brutally honest. I've done that in all of my videos and I have an outsiders perspective because local people just like if you're local to you or your whole life you just kind of take things for granted you don't know. What new people moving there are like? I will go through a few of these things that just caught me completely off guard here in Texas. Some of the things I will talk about in this episodes are j like the weather, you know hurricanes the bug snakes, the heat, the high property taxes, and then there's just some quirky random stuff that I want to talk about, like. Water heaters up in the attic and these little half inch white drain pipes that always get clogged and they overflow. And if you sensors broke it's gonna go into your ceiling and having to change my air filters in my air conditioning unit. HVAC system like monthly if not every three weeks I'm used to Idaho where you do it quarterly but these things run constantly. Power bills. You think you would just pay a power company, right? (I have talked about this on my previous episode check it out!) Those are the kind of things that I love helping you with, and I've had dozens and dozens of reach outs of people just like thank you. This is finally a perspective of somebody because you talk to the locals here. First of all it is the beginning of August definitely typically one of the hottest times of the year. And right now It feels like fall time. Everybody knows it's hot here in in Texas, especially South Texas. But it's what like our heat usually is not 100 degree heat. It's upper 80s lower 90s with humidity and the humidity that should bite you. One thing you just have to live with here in in Texas is just the heat and it's a lot more humid.     Are you wondering what it is like to live in Houston Texas? Well, this is the channel you need! In today’s episode I do a deep dive into Top 5 BEST Areas to Live in Houston Texas (NEW RANKINGS). A lot of conversations came up when talking about the best area and we're not allowed to steer in any way. But for me I love taking a list from niche.com to see where they rank some of these suburbs and those areas around Houston. Then I will share my story on it. I can give you a really good honest opinion of who lives there like it's proximity in Houston and who doesn't like living in those areas. I think it is really important when trying to figure out where to live is just ruling out a bunch of areas because there might be another area that really just fit us better and that's it we already knew what we are looking for. People who are from Houston they know their spots. They know where they want to be and we kind of have that disadvantage, especially, when moving or relocating hard. I've done it a few times and it doesn't get easier.  Let's start from number 5 on the list, this is kind of their best ranking. None of these areas are going to be troublesome or worse than the other. It's really has to do more with where you need to be than anything. But there are some vast differences in some of these areas too. That you know niche come's. I'm not going to talk about like what does it feel like there? What does it look like? So one of the first areas which was really cool and I've done a ton of videos on these two and it always shocks me how quickly it's rising up. None other than the southeast corner outside of Beltway 8 is Clear Lake League City, Dickinson. The number 4 on the list the keeps coming in and it is going to be different from all the rest. It's Jersey Village, so this one's going to be inside Beltway 8. I'm kind of off of the the Katy Freeway I-10. Those major suburbs are these huge master plan communities and everything's going to be basically outside of Beltway 8. Here comes the 3rd on the list which my new neighbor and I are talking about which I combined as the Cypress area and Spring along the North and a tad bit of West.
