During a sports game we often look at the result and think oh thats what happen thats who won or lost. But as sports coaches just looking at this doesn't really tell us what happen we actually need to look beyond the result. This podcast series we will actual help coaches to do just that go beyond the result.

    When looking beyond the results as a coach, I wanted to find a way to cut through and get a clear message to my team on how we were tracking during games and how we went overall after games, so hence the Traffic Light System.     When looking beyond the result as a coach it is important that the statistics that are used to analyse also matter, but so often the is a reliance on old, outdated statistics, well I say to Sports Coaches shake it up, select stats that matter to what you feel you and your players need to know, and also look to innovate come up with new stats to analyse what is happening.
