    Missing someone who hurt you

I haven’t posted an episode in a little while because I had strep throat, and could hardly talk.. which let me just say I am so sorry to anyone who has ever had strep throat before… it is BRUTAL! I want to give a little encouragement to you if you might be down about missing someone who hurt you in the past. I think it’s such a weird feeling to have been so hurt by someone, but still somehow miss them after all the pain… it feels wrong and that makes sharing those feelings with the people in your life really hard. I want you to know I understand. It’s sticky, but it’s okay!

    Loneliness

Today I give you a short story of my experience with loneliness. Loneliness is a part of life, and it has its ups and downs. I want to post this to encourage anyone who is dealing with a season of loneliness. If you are, I want you to know I’m here. And if you aren’t, I want you to know I’m here for when you do go through that season. You can always have this episode to come back to when you need it.

    Slowing down

We live in a culture constantly on “go mode.” If you’ve been feeling burnt out, like you aren’t doing enough, and finding it hard to keep up while dealing with your own battles.. I want to welcome you to Grounded with loving arms by giving you 33 minutes of my experience on slowing down. This episode is chaotic, filled with many of my own experiences that have led me to figuring out how to slow my own roll. I am no one to tell you what you should, and shouldn’t be doing. But, I want to encourage you to do what is best for you in your own life. It is yours, it does not belong to anyone else, and certainly does not get to be dictated by others. Whatever that may look like, I want you to know that someone is here for you in whatever troubles you face. I may not know the issues you’ve been through or the ones you are currently going through.. but whatever they are I care about your well being. You are free, and you are doing incredible even if that is just surviving in a world that will break you down if you let it.. but you haven’t, and I’m so proud of you.
