I feel better in my 40s than in my 20s and 30s! I am a New Jersey native in Northern Virginia who traveled the world in her 14-year Air Force career. I have always had a passion for nutrition and fitness, and that passion resurfaced just a few years ago when I was the unhealthiest and heaviest I have ever been in my entire life! At my heaviest I was 200+ pounds and was clinically obese, diagnosed with mild sleep apnea, high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, chronic inflammation, and was going downhill fast! I knew something had to change. I had to go outside of my formal nutrition education to find the low-carb way of eating, and that is when I stumbled across channels such as Dr. Baker, Dr. Berry, Bart Kay, and Dr. Chaffee, and, of course, digging down my own rabbit hole of research!     The United Nations set to call on Americans to reduce meat consumption. Apparently cattle and farming put off too much emissions and, therefore, we need to stop eating meat.     Interview: Finding Relief From Mental Health Issues and Ulcerative Colitis With Lee

    Lee's reason for living the Carnivore lifestyle is mostly managing mental health struggles along with a handful of physical ailments. Back in 2017 Lee, unfortunately, had his colon removed during his battle with Ulcerative Colitis. He believes this could have been avoided with the intervention of a Carnivorous diet. Sadly, it seems that most Doctors aren't so well-versed when it comes to nutrition, and this ultimately led to such extreme measures with the removal of his colon. I'm a licensed dietitian, certified personal trainer, and an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certified Exercise Physiologist. I also currently teach nutrition at Miami Dade College.     Interview: From Sugar Addiction to Finding Food Freedom With Low-Carb and Addiction Coach Pim Jansson

    Pim is a Nutritionist MSc and Certified Life Coach helping keto and carnivores with carb-addicted brains and emotional eating problems re-wire their brains to stop cheating themselves and stay consistent with their way of eating. Pim was following a low-carb diet for over 15 years without being able to address her carb addiction. She tried most things under the sun to address the issue, but none of them worked until she was exposed to a completely different approach which has nothing to do with diet, supplements, macros, minerals, or anything else externally. People who find themselves unable to quit the carbs while on a keto or carnivore diet don't generally have a food problem, they have an underfeeling problem. This is what she is teaching others to do so that they can quit the carbs permanently and experience what true food freedom feels like.
