A good ride
Anim5's IDDFOS podcast is a fantastic series to listen to and enjoy thinking about things that often get surpassed by more immidiate concerns like work, education, weather, traffic, politics, and all the tiny little distractions that life throws up in order to keep you from the "big thoughts" Through the course of IDDFOS Anim5 brings up the big questions, and while not answering them, through the feedback of listeners provides different jumping off points for the listeners to ponder.
This is very cool.
In Addition to the timeless question, anim 5 provides bumpers of music, radio drama, commercials for classic podcasts and other bits to kind of "clense the mental palate" before continuing with another feedbakc, or alternate thoughts. One of the best things though is how open and inviting Anim5 is throughout the show. His voice, and style, and editing make the listener feel as if he's participating, no matter how long ago the episode aired. To enhance that feeling ANim5 provides a forum to discuss the questions with other listeners, again no matter how long ago the episode aired.
So, Download the podcast, kick back, and relive those deep philosophical conundrums that you and friends would sit up discussion till the wee hours of the morning. IT's fun.
Awesome Podcast
I just started listening to the podcast, and It has helped me widen my prospects in life, I am amazed in what I learn almost every episode about the world around me, It's just a fantastic podcast, if there was a like 10/5 stars I would give it that, because it is a 200% podcast, although anim5 does get the release dates a little screwed up I does not matter because listening to each latest episode makes me want more and more
A shiny island of insanity in a sea of tedium
A wonderfully unique take on all things. I mean that literally. He will talk about just about anything under the sun and between the incoherent ramblings and antiquated pieces of radio drama there are an impressive number of thought provoking moments in the show. Best enjoyed with an open mind and a cold beverage.
