Zoomers Turned Anakin Into a War on the Boomers

Young right-wing men spent two weeks on X turning the Star Wars prequels into a war on the boomers. In their version, Anakin Skywalker is every young man in America, and the Jedi Council is every older guy who told him to be patient. Osiris breaks down the Zoomer Anakin meme for anyone over fifty-five: why MAGA treats Nick Fuentes the way the Council treats Anakin, and the loot behind the joke. A house went from about three times a year's income in the nineties to almost five. Men now marry for the first time at almost thirty-one. The share of families with Dad working and Mom at home fell from 42 percent to 23. On jobs, the EEOC took a $500,000 settlement from Planned Parenthood of Illinois and sued the New York Times (that case is still in court). Then there's the December 2024 H-1B fight, when Vivek Ramaswamy blamed American culture and Elon Musk promised to "go to war," and Trump's own words about protecting home values at a January 2026 Cabinet meeting. It ends on the numbers that should scare the older right: young men backed Trump by fourteen points in 2024, and Harvard's October 2026 poll has young men who say they'll vote favoring Democrats for the House by twenty-six. If you keep telling your grandson to vote harder, you're the Jedi Council. Correction: Ted Cruz's "groyper problem" remark was made to the Wall Street Journal (reported Oct. 14-15, 2026), not on TV. Why Did the Saudis Give Jared Kushner's Firm $2 Billion?

Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund committed $2 billion to Jared Kushner's brand-new firm, Affinity Partners, after the fund's screening panel flagged its inexperience, called its fee excessive, and rated its operations "unsatisfactory in all aspects." The board chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved it anyway, and the fund's staff wrote that the deal aimed to form a "strategic relationship" with Jared Kushner himself. Osiris walks through all five red flags, the $25 million-a-year management fee, Senator Ron Wyden's 2024 finding that Affinity had collected about $87 million in Saudi fees without distributing a penny of earnings, the $1.5 billion that followed from Qatar and Abu Dhabi, and why it matters now that Kushner negotiates for America as Trump's peace envoy while the White House treats him as a volunteer who skips public financial disclosures. Kushner says the Saudi investment was made on commercial terms, calls Wyden's fee estimate inaccurate, and says he has never taken a diplomatic action to benefit Affinity, himself, or any investor. His lawyer, Chad Mizelle, calls CREW's lawsuit over his disclosures "without merit." Next episode: the envoy job, and the 60 Minutes interview where Kushner called his conflicts of interest "experience." Kushner's Lawyers Said They'd Sue. Where's the Lawsuit?

Jared Kushner's WhatsApp use raised questions in Congress back in 2019. Now Matthew Cole's new book, Princes and Thieves, alleges foreign spies got inside Kushner's iPhone while he worked in the White House. Kushner calls the allegations "completely insane" and says they never happened. Osiris examines the 2019 congressional letter, Abbe Lowell's response, the reporting on Kushner's WhatsApp chats with Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, and three real holes in Matthew Cole's account. What does the public record prove about Jared Kushner, and what still needs paper? The episode also covers Cole's reporting track record and the legal threats from Kushner's lawyers. As of October 31, I haven't located a publicly filed lawsuit over these allegations. Next episode: Saudi Arabia's $2 billion investment in Affinity Partners.
