    The Wisdom of Falling Leaves

🍂 The leaves are falling, change is happening, and some of us are still standing underneath the tree trying to put the damn leaves back on. This week, Audra and Abby get into the feels of change—not just what’s happening around us, but everything it stirs up within us. The reactions that began somewhere in childhood. The emotions we’ve learned to stuff, outrun, distract ourselves from, or swallow instead of allowing them to move through. And yes…the tears that sometimes need to come with it. But somewhere between falling leaves and emotional release, the conversation gets bigger. We wander through the different seasons of becoming—the points throughout life when we find ourselves asking again: Who am I now?Who do I want to be?What still belongs here? And what the hell am I supposed to do with everything I’ve learned? Then comes the passing of the torch. Every generation speaks a slightly different language, shaped by the path carved before them and evolving for whatever comes next. Our job is to learn not to judge how differently that path is traveled. To honor what our ancestors carried to get us here, pass along the wisdom we've gathered, and then loosen our grip enough for the next generation to take it somewhere we never could. Wisdom can guide without ego needing to control where or how it goes. Change is emotional. Growth can be messy. And sometimes letting go isn't about losing something at all. Sometimes the leaf has simply finished its season. Let the damn thing fall. 🍂

Maters be damned....Snack Attack Dealers Unit!

Season 4 kicks off with wildfire horse energy, unfiltered laughter, raw truth, and the kind of conversation that only happens when two people stop trying to hold life together perfectly and choose to ride it honestly instead. Abby Pagud and Audra Whatley return to the mic diving headfirst into the chaos, speed, and overstimulation of the world right now—where everything feels like it’s moving too fast and somehow demanding more while people are quietly trying to hold themselves together behind the scenes. This episode dances between humor and heartbreak in true Embracing the Wild fashion. From ridiculous cosmic jokes about “Ur-anus” to deep conversations around grief, loss, and the strange reality of continuing life after losing someone you love, nothing is bypassed and nothing is overly polished. Together, Abby and Audra explore the emotional whiplash of being human while still creating, still dreaming, still building “mad creations” in the middle of real life. They open up about what’s shifting behind the scenes, what’s calling them forward next, and how transformation rarely arrives looking neat or graceful. This isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about learning how to move with the fire instead of fearing it. Healing dances with humor. The sacred collides with the absurd. And somehow, through all of it—life keeps asking us to stay awake enough to experience it fully. Welcome back to Embracing the Wild.Embrace the experience.
