Sorry, Honey, I Have to Take This

I have listened to the whole podcast twice already. The Handler, Agents, story and audio quality is fantastic.

This is a decent podcast. Really a two and a half maybe. First season, From players to handler, The group gets better with every episode. And the music is such a nice touch! First season is great. Second season starts to ebb where the handler seems a bit too literal for my taste and shows the first signs of the railroading so characteristic of later scenarios. The cold one and the one in the high rise were really good. Just finished Sisyphean which was the worst one yet. Ludicrous outcomes, zero clues for players, etc. made the story so fractured it made no sense whatever. You could literally hear the switch flip turning on the TPK. I hope they get back to what they were as they showed so much promise early on. The sign of a good group is both players and handler trusting each other. That was the beginning, but was lost along the way. I will listen a little more in hopes I can change this review, hoping they capture what they had in the beginning.

Chris is a great handler and the camaraderie and inside jokes among the cast are fun. A good romp and lots of jump cut and cliffhanger fun.

This is a top notch Delta Green actual play. The handler and players aren’t afraid to take big swings and lean into the setting, and it works. Good balance of DG appropriate dark mythos themes with table banter for comic relief. Incredible editing and sound design. Can’t say enough positive about it!
