    Galen, Zac and Kirian begin their look at Disco Elysium, a 2019 narrative-rpg by Estonian/British developer and artists' collective ZA/UM. Casting the player in the role of destitute, alcholic, super-cop Harry DuBois the game turns the player out to discover a story of ideology, ontology, and deep humanity in the war-torn city of Martinaise. At the risk of over promising, this may be the best game ever written. This episode covers the first half of our thoughts on the first day, focussing specifically on generalities, the opening and Joyce and Evrart.
