EAT, PRAY, #LOVE WOULD BE VERY SPICY #TRAVEL WITH PENNY AS #AUTHOR!

eing a pathfinder is to be willing to risk failure and still go on, says Gail Sheehy. Playing on the surname of my guest, “Ndlela” which is IsiZulu meaning a physical path, or the way you do something or a manner a person conducts themselves, their style or behaviour. Whichever meaning you ascribe her surname, Siphesihle, called Sihle for short, Penny Ndlela has her own unique, distinguishable way of moving through this Life. Sihle originally hails from Empangeni, in Northern KwaZulu Natal, but grew up in eSikhawini in Richard’s Bay. Penny says #money has never been the driver for the ventures she pursues in business because it comes in abundance when you find purpose. Sihle is a serial #entrepreneur. In the late 1990s she joined Lemon & Lime, a customised gifting company which evolved into an integrated communications and marketing #business. Penny bought out her partner in 2000 and later exited and sold the business in 2009. In 2013, Penny started Soul Traveller, a faith-based travelling experience for the black market in South Africa. It was her first #tourism venture and became a member of the #Thebe Tourism group first group #travel tour operator in South Africa focused on the domestic market. Hope you have enjoy this Powerhouse from #SouthAfrica, and that this conversation has inspires you. Until next time, when we speak to a wise #African on #Wisdom Personified Conversations with #DuduMsomi #sihlendlela #pennyndlela #traveltourism #africanwoman #Travel #Tourism #SoulTraveler

Ignorance the Greatest Enemy of #Africans, the Achilles Heel threatening Thriving in an #AI world

"To attain knowledge, add things every day. To attain #wisdom, subtract things every day." – Philosopher, Lao Tzu Prince Mashele is a prominent #SouthAfrican political analyst, author, and commentator known for his critical and hard-hitting perspectives. He holds a Master's Degree in Political Studies from Rhodes University, having previously earned a BA and Honours Degrees from the University of #Venda. Prince is the Executive Director of the Centre for Politics and Research (CPR), a South African think tank. Prior to this, he served as the Head of the Crime, Justice and Politics Programme at the Institute for Security Studies (ISS). His deep understanding of political machinery is informed by his time as a researcher at the Institute for Global Dialogue and the Institute for Democracy in South Africa, as well as working as a speechwriter in The Presidency and for the Pan-Africa Parliament. He has also lectured in Political Sciences at the University of #Pretoria. As a sought-after consultant and commentator, Mashele is a prolific contributor to major South African newspapers, including Business Day and the Sunday Times. He is the author of The Death of our Society and co-author of the influential book, The Fall of the ANC: What Next? We can feel bombarded with numerous perspectives. This accumulation often leads to confusion, not clarity. It is important to appreciate that your understanding of your political context will not necessarily be achieved by adding another analyst’s view to your repertoire of knowledge, but by subtracting the noise. Filtering out bias, discarding sensationalism, and focusing only on the core, verifiable truths and ethical consequences of #leadership decisions. This reflective subtraction allows you to discern the lasting pattern from the fleeting chaos. And sometimes you get there, by understanding the values and motivations of the analyst. Hope this episode, gives you a glimpse into Prince Mashele and his core values and motivations that influence his perspectives. Until the next insightful and stimulating #WisdomPersonified Conversations with Dudu Msomi. WP E83 Shado Twala - #WisdomPersonified - conversations with Dudu Msomi

August is not a celebration. It is a call to remembrance and reclamation. We honour the resilience of women who walked in 1956—not just as a historical act, but as a reminder that resistance is relational, collective, and generational. On Wisdom Personified Conversations with Dudu Msomi on this Women's Month, we pay tribute to Sis Nomshado Twala, popularly known as Shado Twala, as a trailblazer in the South African media as radio DJ, talk show host, voice-over artist, journalist, Entrepreneur and TV producer. She started her career in 1986 on the 1st Black English language radio station, Radio Metro. Straggling two worlds, one in which broadcasters working for a government entity like the SABC during apartheid could be perceived as sell-outs, juxtaposed with the lived reality of enduring harsh discriminatory practices every day at work . There is a generation of South Africans, who know her best as a judge on SA’s Got Talent for 9 seasons. Sis Shado manages her own entertainment business, Black Olive Entertainment and is also a Public Relations and Media Consultant. Sis Shado is a proud single mother to two children, her Vusi Zion and daughter Owami. Hope you enjoy this wise conversation from a South African gem! We would surely be poorer for not having her in our midst. To all women taking time out of your schedule to watch and listen. Thank you for supporting our channel. This Women’s Month, I do not offer praise. I offer witness. To your strength. To your softness. To your power. You are power, personified. #shadotwala #SABC #dudumsomi #wisdom #media #pioneer #PR #trailblazer #power #womensmonth #DJ #talkshowhost #music #metrofm #women
