Embracing the Done Good Enough Mindset

This yarning is for anyone who feels stuck between knowing what they want… and feeling overwhelmed by how to begin. In this episode, I explore the power of “done good enough” — not as settling, but as a radical act of self-trust, self-responsibility, and healing. We talk about how trauma shapes our nervous system, our patterns, and our relationship with action. How our bodies often return to what feels familiar—even when that familiarity is chaos. And how growth doesn’t come from perfection, but from meeting ourselves where we actually are. This conversation weaves together: Trauma, safety, and the nervous systemSelf-care as responsibility, not luxuryIdentity and how it shapes our choicesReleasing perfectionism and excuse-based survivalTaking action before clarity arrivesBuilding trust with yourself through small, meaningful stepsThis is a reminder that you don’t need to wait to be healed, ready, or perfect to begin.  Momentum creates clarity.  Action creates trust.  And every moment holds the potential for change. 🌿 Invitation If this episode spoke to something in you: 🤍 Like this episode 🤍 Subscribe for more Warrior Heart Yarns 🤍 Comment below — what is the done good enough step you can take today? 🤍 Share this with someone who needs permission to start where they are ✨ If you’re listening on audio and want the visual yarning, please subscribe on YouTube and join me there. - https://youtube.com/@shantellethompsonwarriorheart?si=yL_6NL6N-fqFXlVG 🔥 And if you’re ready to walk this path with others, I invite you into the Warrior Heart Community — a space for grounding, reflection, daily practices, and collective resilience. - https://www.skool.com/warrior-heart/about?ref=104d04aab8eb46f4bb3b549b18718daf  You don’t have to do it all.  You just have to take the next honest step. A Gentle Release: Letting Go and Coming Back to Yourself

In this yarning, I sit with the question so many of us are quietly holding: What is actually mine to carry… and what am I ready to lay down? This episode is about letting go—not as abandonment, but as responsibility.  Releasing what no longer serves, no longer belongs, or was never ours to hold in the first place. We explore how personal growth isn’t a one-off breakthrough, but a daily practice of return. A returning to self. To culture. To discernment. To what truly matters. Through a Warrior Heart lens, we talk about: Making space for new beginningsCultural connection as a grounding forceResponsibility to self, community, and future generationsDaily practices that create real, lived transformationLearning what to hold, and what to gently put downThis is an invitation to move at the pace of truth and peace, not pressure.  To lead without carrying everything.  To grow without burning yourself out.  To remember that you don’t have to do this alone. 🌿 Invitation If this yarn resonated with you: 🤍 Like this episode 🤍 Subscribe to the channel for more Warrior Heart Yarns 🤍 Comment below — what are you learning to let go of in this season? 🤍 Share this with someone who might need permission to lay something down ✨ If you’re listening on audio and want the visual yarning, please subscribe on YouTube and join me there. - https://youtube.com/@shantellethompsonwarriorheart?si=5oemYmbScfuZqpUO  🔥 And if you’re ready to walk this path in community, you’re warmly invited to join the Warrior Heart Community — a grounded space for reflection, daily practices, cultural leadership, and becoming. - https://www.skool.com/warrior-heart/about?ref=104d04aab8eb46f4bb3b549b18718daf  You don’t have to carry it all.  And you don’t have to walk alone. Become your own purpose. Activate your Warrior Heart

In this episode, Shantelle Thompson invites you into a powerful remembering: purpose is not something you chase — it is something you become. Speaking from lived experience, Indigenous matriarchal wisdom, and the Warrior Heart path, this conversation explores what becomes possible when we stop abandoning ourselves in the name of care, leadership, and responsibility — and instead choose to lead from our being, not our depletion. In a world that conditions mothers, Indigenous women, carers, and leaders to put everyone else first, this episode is a gentle but uncompromising call to return to self. To reclaim self-worth. To remember that being well is not selfish — it is foundational. Shantelle introduces the Warrior Heart Activation as a pathway for those ready to stop surviving and start embodying their purpose, power, and peace — not as a role, but as a way of being. This is an invitation to choose love at your core, to become your own purpose, and to create legacy in every moment you are alive. ✨ In this episode, you’ll explore: Why purpose is something we embody, not achieveWhat self-activation really looks like in daily lifeIndigenous matriarchal wisdom on care, responsibility, and leadershipHow self-worth reshapes the way we love, lead, and serveWhy being well is the true foundation for impact and legacy🔥 Sound bites: “What if you became your own purpose?”“Purpose doesn’t have to be a role.”“Being well is the absence of illness.”⏱ Chapters: 00:00 Becoming Your Own Purpose 03:36 The Warrior Heart Activation 06:38 Indigenous Wisdom & Self-Care 08:48 The Invitation to Change 🌱 Call to Action If this episode speaks to your spirit, here are three ways to walk it deeper: Join the Warrior Heart community — a living space for self-activation, purpose, and embodied leadership - https://www.skool.com/warrior-heart/about?ref=104d04aab8eb46f4bb3b549b18718daf Book a Warrior Heart Activation Call if you’re ready to move from insight into aligned action - https://calendly.com/shantellethompson/yarn-connect Subscribe + share this episode with someone who needs permission to choose themselves without guiltYour life still holds purpose.  Your leadership still matters.  And your legacy is shaped in how you choose to be — today. 🔑 Keywords / Tags purpose, self-care, leadership, legacy, Indigenous wisdom, self-activation, Warrior Heart, empowerment, matriarchal values, self-worth, embodied leadership, cultural sovereignty, becoming your purpose, conscious leadership, wellbeing as leadership, Indigenous women leadership, personal responsibility, healing and purpose Support the show

A Warrior Heart yarn on resilience, choice, and becoming

Survival was never meant to be the destination. In this episode, Shantelle Thompson — Barkindji Warrior, mother, world champion athlete, and founder of the Warrior Heart — sits in a real and reflective conversation about owning your power, your choices, and your life. This is not a conversation about hustle or fixing yourself.  It’s about remembering who you are beneath survival mode. Shantelle speaks to the season many people find themselves in right now — tired, overwhelmed, carrying more than they were ever taught how to hold — and invites listeners into a deeper truth: you don’t need to know how to change your life to begin, you just need the courage to take responsibility for it. Through lived experience, cultural wisdom, and hard-earned insight, this episode explores what it means to activate your Warrior Heart — to rise above circumstance without abandoning yourself, and to choose purpose even when the path isn’t clear. In this episode, we explore: • Why survival mode is not your destiny  • How responsibility becomes a pathway to freedom  • What it really means to own your power and potential  • Why your Dreaming is not seasonal — even in hard seasons  • How saving yourself becomes an act of leadership and impact This episode is for those who feel the quiet pull toward more.  For those who are done waiting for permission.  For those ready to walk their life with intention, courage, and meaning. S5: Survival to Sovereignty: Being With Myself: A Warrior Heart Morning Yarn

In this 5am yarn, recorded while the world was still dreaming, I sit with a question that has been rising in my spirit: What does it truly mean to know myself — and to be with myself? After speaking my truth publicly, I realised the deeper truth was meant for me first.  This episode is a soft return to that knowing — a moment to pause, breathe, and witness the quiet places inside where clarity lives. I explore the sacred work of self-knowing through three grounding practices: 1. Presence — sitting with what is, without running. The courage to be still long enough to hear your own spirit speak. 2. Purpose — remembering your why beneath the noise. A return to what your Ancestors already placed in your chest. 3. Prayer/Connection — letting Spirit, Country, and Breath guide you home. A reminder that you are never walking alone. Knowing yourself isn’t a performance.  It’s a relationship.  And being with yourself is a daily act of sovereignty, self-trust, and Warrior Heart truth-telling. The Takeaway You do not need permission to come home to yourself.  Your truth is enough.  Your presence is power.  And every time you choose honesty over performance, you strengthen the relationship with your own spirit. Call to Action (CTA) If this yarn meets you where you are, come walk with us inside the Warrior Heart Community — a space for purpose, truth, and becoming. Your next step doesn’t need to be big. The Night Before — The Calling Back. The eve of the 100 days of embodiment Warrior Heart

Keywords: self-identity, personal growth, barriers, self-belief, change, vision, self-exploration On the night before my 100-day ceremony begins, I sit in the quiet and return to myself. This episode is a grounding yarn — a calling back of my spirit, my energy, and my truth. I speak about identity, the barriers I’ve carried, and the stories I’ve outgrown, and I invite you to reflect on your own journey alongside me. I ask the questions that matter: Who am I to myself? Where am I in my life right now? What do I believe about who I am allowed to become? Because I’ve learned that the biggest barriers aren’t out there — they’re the stories I’ve held about who I believe myself not to be. This night-before ceremony is about clearing the ground, gathering my fire, and listening to the call of what is already rising within me. I honour my lived experience, my vision, and the truth that everything I need is already within. Through reflection, release, and reclamation, I prepare myself to walk into the next sunrise with conviction, discipline, and devotion — knowing that my identity, my story, and my Dreaming are not obstacles… they are my medicine.
