    141. Disney World Rides for Toddlers: A Sensory Guide for Parents

    Taking a toddler to Walt Disney World? Let’s look at Disney rides from a toddler’s perspective! Toddlers ages 1–3 can enjoy SO much at Disney World, but some attractions can be dark, loud, overwhelming, wet, or just not very interesting to a little one. In this episode, I’m going park by park and taking a sensory-focused look at the Disney World rides that toddlers can experience. For each attraction, we’ll talk about the ride itself, potential sensory concerns including sight, sound, smell and touch, and whether I would personally recommend it for a toddler. We’re covering rides at: 🎢 EPCOT 🦁 Disney’s Animal Kingdom 🏰 Magic Kingdom 🎬 Hollywood Studios This isn’t about whether a ride has a height requirement or whether a toddler is technically allowed to ride—it’s about what the experience may actually be like for a toddler and whether I think it’s worth adding to your day.     Packing for Walt Disney World can get overwhelming FAST. There are endless packing lists, must-have products, park bag checklists, gadgets, fans, accessories… but how much of that stuff do you actually need? In this episode of Mom Street USA, we're taking a different approach to Disney World packing. Instead of giving you yet another massive packing list, we're breaking everything down into five categories: 1. Absolutely Bring — the things I wouldn't want to start a Disney trip without 2. Nice to Have — things that can make your trip easier, but aren't vacation-ruining if you forget them 3. Don't Bother — things that may take up valuable suitcase or park-bag space without being worth it 4. Things You Can Buy There — items you don't necessarily need to pack from home 5. Things People Tell You to Bring That I Think Are Debatable at Best — because just because something is popular online doesn't mean YOUR family needs it! We'll talk about everything from walking shoes, rain gear and sunscreen to groceries, fans, stroller gear, autograph books, park bags and all those little “Disney must-haves” you see recommended online. And most importantly, we'll talk about how to figure out what YOUR family actually needs for a Walt Disney World vacation. Because here's the biggest Disney packing tip of all: **Don't pack for the Disney trip you see online or on social media. Pack for YOUR Disney trip.** If something solves a real problem for your family, bring it! If it makes your vacation better, bring it!
