Capital One Exposes Trump's Fraud? UFC Burns $30 Million and RFK's Lies Fall Apart

On this episode of The Vocal Minority with Nick and Steve.... The guys kick things off with the Capital One story that has everyone talking. Did the bank just expose the cracks in Trump's financial empire? They break down what happened, why it matters, and what it could mean moving forward. Then it's on to the disastrous UFC Freedom 250 event that reportedly lost more than $30 million after costing roughly $60 million to produce. The guys ask the question no one else seems willing to ask. If company executives knowingly approved an event, they expected to lose tens of millions of dollars, are they violating their fiduciary duty to shareholders? Could investors have a legitimate case? Next, they dive into the latest developments surrounding the Reflecting Pool case after prosecutors dropped the charges because of a lack of evidence. Despite that, Trump continues claiming there is video proving the vandalism and lashes out over the decision. The guys separate the facts from the fiction and explain why the story keeps changing. The conversation shifts to RFK Jr.'s appearance with Dana Bash on CNN, where his claims about COVID 19, vaccines, and autism are put under the microscope. The guys break down the clips, the lack of credible evidence behind his arguments, and why his latest comments continue to draw criticism. They also tackle the outrage surrounding Anthony Fauci invoking the Fifth Amendment, pointing out the glaring hypocrisy from the same crowd that defended Donald Trump for doing exactly the same thing over and over again. Then it's off to Wisconsin, where a bar that once offered free beer when Trump dies has now become the only bar in the state to lose its liquor license. Coincidence or political retribution? The guys examine the controversy and let you decide. Finally, it's time for another edition of Trump Talk Shit, featuring a fresh collection of Trump's latest Oval Office rants, bizarre comments, and head scratching moments that have to be heard to be believed. Trump Targets Journalists' Families, Canada Tariffs Get Even More Bizarre, Mike Johnson's Wild Press Conference

On this episode of The Vocal Minority with Nick and Steve, the guys kicked off your midweek political review with their headline story covering the Trump administration's escalating attacks on the press, including the lawsuit involving The New York Times and the controversial effort to subpoena journalists' family members. They broke down why critics say it represents another dangerous escalation against a free press. From there, Nick and Steve turned to Donald Trump's latest comments on Canada, including his suggestion that the smoke from Canadian wildfires might be another reason to impose tariffs. The guys discussed the irony of blaming Canada for wildfire smoke while much of the United States is battling major fires of its own and reflected on the long history of Canadian firefighters coming to America's aid during wildfire seasons. The conversation then shifted to House Speaker Mike Johnson's morning press conference, where he promoted the SAVE Act. The guys also discussed House Majority Leader Steve Scalise's comparison of voting to getting unlimited pasta at Olive Garden, arguing that identification is required for both, along with the GOP's renewed focus on banning insider trading by members of Congress. Nick and Steve also examined the latest allegations surrounding Donald Trump's health, including claims that have fueled renewed speculation and even added a new scent to the conversation, with reports alleging that Trump now smells of urine following discussions about repeated fluid infusions and worsening health. Later in the show, Nick and Steve highlighted Representative Rashida Tlaib's tense exchange with Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought during a House committee hearing. After asking Vought who he worked for and hearing him respond, "The President of the United States," Tlaib launched into a sharp critique of the administration's budget priorities. They also covered Senator John Fetterman's appearance on CNN, where he pushed back against false claims about the 2020 election. Drawing on his experience as Pennsylvania's lieutenant governor, who oversaw one of the nation's most closely watched elections, Fetterman said the election was secure, fair, and accurately administered.
