    Lindsay Clancy MISTRIAL: 11–1 Jury Split, One Holdout & What Happens Now?

    ⚖️🚨 THE LINDSAY CLANCY TRIAL HAS ENDED IN A MISTRIAL. After seven days and more than 36 hours of deliberations, the jury told Judge William Sullivan for a third time that it could not reach a unanimous decision in the case of Massachusetts mother Lindsay Clancy. The judge formally declared a mistrial on September 4, 2026, after Lindsay’s defense made a last-minute emergency appeal to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court seeking additional scrutiny of the lone holdout juror. The appeal was denied. Defense attorney Kevin Reddington says the jury was apparently 11–1 for acquittal, with one male juror refusing to join the others. But because criminal verdicts require unanimity, Lindsay was not acquitted, convicted, or found not criminally responsible. The case ended without a verdict.
