Imagine a friend giving out your contact information without your permission or consent? How would that make you feel? More than likely, you would feel a breach of trust and that they overstepped your boundaries. Sharing the information of another without their permission is a violation of their privacy, and it completely disregards their right to control how others connect with them. Society will tell us that we should do A and not B, or that we should be together for “this” number of years before moving onto “that.” However, only the people involved in said relationship get to dictate and determine the rules for their relationship.     In this episode, This Realm of Existence Blog & Podcast creator and host, Sharron W., talks about how although it may hurt to lose someone that you once thought was a friend, it truly can be a blessing in disguise. Out with the old and fake, and in with the new and genuine. A woman on TikTok shared the story of how her now ex best friend blocked her while was she planning and preparing for her husband’s funeral, who had tragically passed away due to an accident. Her “friend” did not appreciate how long it was taking for this woman who was grieving, to text her back. Could you imagine? However, this woman revealing her true colors was likely a blessing in disguise.
