Empathy Jam

Chad & Tiffany

We have an unspoken core value that we live life through a lens of empathy. Empathy for each other, empathy for ourselves, and empathy for those around us. We strive to see through another's eyes and experience. Empathy is weightless, it's healing, it's freedom. This is where we find common ground. We believe healing is found when we find the willingness to walk in someone else's shoes. We don't have to be good at it. The magic is in the willingness. We are willing. Lets jam.

We believe that everyone has different strengths and through vulnerability and authenticity we can learn from each other. We are by no means pros at giving empathy to ourselves or others. We are here to walk with you. We were tired of living a life that is functional and "just getting by." We have done enough research living this way. 14: It's Like Having a Hole in Your Chest that Will Never Be Filled: Mary Coleman teaches yoga in a Suicide Prevention Program for Veterans

Mary Coleman is a yoga instructor for over 10 years. On this episode Mary shares her story of what lead her to immerse herself in yoga.  She told me of her love of volunteering  with veterans in a suicide prevention program called Warrior Camp. We were both filled with tears after I related in telling a story of a veteran I know that had committed suicide just 2 days prior to this recording. This podcast came from having one 4 minute conversation with Mary thanking her for a class that I (Chad) took with her at Mat Happy Yoga in Hilliard Ohio. I mentioned a podcast I was starting with my wife called Empathy Jam and right away she said yes to helping out in any way she could. No matter who you are or what circumstances you come from this episode of Empathy Jam will inspire you and at the very least give a new perspective on what it means to live with purpose.
