Archie and Me: An Archie Comics Podcast

They’re nice and their patter is relaxing. I have a hard time believing this wasn’t initiated by Archie Comics…not just because the talent and editors are frequent guests, but primarily because the hosts are so blandly positive in reviewing everything Archie Comics puts out, which can a real stretch these days. Even the jumbo digests getting cut down to about a third of their original size for the same price, and reduced to seasonal release from multiple a month, was greeted quickly and positively as a ‘re-imagining.’ The show just never feels very candid or intimate, but it *is* upbeat and pleasant to listen to, and it’s a good summary of what is coming out.

Two charming guys with voices that are ASMR to my ears… so I relax and hear about all the goings on in Riverdale in an insightful, informative and fun way!
