I was first introduced to Jon via Pewter Report, a Bucs beat podcast I’ve followed for years. Jon Ledyard’s insights and analysis on that show blew me away. He immediately upgraded the show to must listen status every time he appeared. There are lots of pundit type shows (especially in Tampa Bay media) that follow the same surface nonsense, echoing narratives you can find anywhere- takes that don’t match the film or reality but sound good or match some preconceived notion (Devin White anybody?!)
Jon does such a great job digging into the X’s and O’s, looking into schemes, coaching, personnel, salary cap, projections, everything a real football junkie wants. He comes armed with examples to back himself up. I challenge you NOT to learn something from this show!
I was super bummed when Jon left PR and the quality of that show dropped off. I’m so stoked to find out about this new podcast. After listening to the first 10 minutes I knew this was what I had been missing. I immediately (and joyfully) subscribed.
