Never was much of a Vin Diesel fan. Ended up being introduced to the Fast franchise, and stumbled upon this after watching Furious 7 and needing to listen to other people talk about that ending for catharsis and commiseration. Out of like 10 different pods that I listened to, this has got to be my favorite.
So many other podcasts just spend an hour and a half recapping plot I already know, and making the same jokes and observations. So its really refreshing to see a movie seen through a different lens. Trivia, behind the scenes facts , and actual analysis of the movies give you something new and interesting to ponder while you listen. Fantastic theme song, and amazing production value thanks in part to the lovely producer (Alisa? Yalisa? Ulysa? Not sure what it is sorry) who I hope spends a lot more time on mic in season 2. Not to mention the robust rating system they use. Speaking of which I thought it would be fitting to rate this show the same way
D - Its far from the biggest podcast around, but it will definitely leave you smiling and coming back for more
I - Analyzing Mr. Diesel’s oeuvre of work is important and thankless work, so I want to say Integrity, but the insight and intuition these two display make me have to choose Intelligence
E - The eroticism here is Extremely High. The sexual tension between our hosts and Mr. Diesel is so thick and tender that you could cut it with a plastic fork.
S - Podcasts, being a audio medium, its hard to judge the sleeve state. But metaphorically speaking, the openness of the hosts, the willingness to take on any Diesel movie, no matter how minor or obscure it is, I gotta say its as sleeveless as they come.
E - I laughed I cried, I sneezed. Emotional thrill ride
L - The L has to go to every Actor that isn’t Vin Diesel, and every podcast that isn’t the Diesel System
