In this week's episode I chat to my good friend Chris Week about life on the road playing the iconic Buddy Holly, all about his drama school audition experiences, his training at Oxford School of Drama, what it's like to be an Actor Muso, his Buddy and Cilla audition experiences (including an 1.5 hour solo audition!) and how watching his Dad in the Am Drama and Muso world from a young age inspired him to pursue a career in The Arts. In this week's episode I chat to Georgina about her varied career within The Arts, including her part in the Olympic Closing Ceremony, her involvement with The Black British Music Awards, a hilarious audition story which ran into the night and what she looks for when she is on a panel! We also have a really open and honest chat about Confidence. I'd personally like to thank Georgina so much for her time and advice and honesty on today's episode. I feel extremely honoured that Georgina felt comfortable enough to share some personal experiences with me today. Hello and a very fabulous welcome to Season 4 of 'Thanks, That's All For Today!' Today's episode is with a very special guest; British professional Latin and Ballroom dancer, West End/Broadway and Television star and Strictly Come Dancing LEGEND... Mr. Robin. Windsor! In this week's episode I get to chat to Robin about his start in the creative industry and competing in the Ballroom dance world from a very young age, his favourite job EVER, Robin shares a fabulous audition story, chats about what he is currently up to in the theatre world and of course answers a few questions about Strictly Come Dancing (including the audition process)! Robin also shares a really person story about a sliding door moment that changed his life forever. I'd like to thank Robin so much for his time and advice and honesty on today's episode and wish him all the luck for the rest of his time on the UK Tour of 'Come What May!' which is currently touring the UK as I type! It was pleasure to have him on the show and I loved that most sections ended up with us both in hysterics! So today’s episode is with a very special guest; singer, dancer, actor and recent West End leading lady, the beautiful Chloe Saunders! In this week's episode I get to chat to Northern Beauty Chloe about her West End debut, her fantastic career since graduating, her time spent studying at Urdang, her audition experiences from being put on hold twice for a major West End show to writing her own monologue for an audition, to us bonding over both having the same worst ever dance audition experience! Chloe also shares a touching memory of the moment she knew as a youngster, that being a performer was going to be her job. This girl is a S T A R and I can't wait to see her flourish in the creative industry. I'd like to thank Chloe for her time and advice and honesty and wish her all the luck with her brand new venture in her upcoming role in West End show Bonnie & Clyde! In this week's episode I get to chat to Charlotte about growing up surrounded by singing, dancing, acting and how she turned that passion into a career, her vast variety of credits from Musical Theatre to being the Voice of Morrisons, her wonderful relationship with her fellow West End Hubby and how she’s continued working and thriving in a very competitive industry since graduating. *Charlotte also hints to us about her role in the new up and coming Wonka film!* I would personally like to thank Charlotte so much for her time, advice, but also her openness and honestly about what it’s like being a working Mum within the creative industry, as she shares what it was like returning to work after having her first child. Hello and a very fabulous welcome to Season 4 of 'Thanks, That's All For Today!' HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2023! Can you believe it?! It's been far too long but I am back and I am really excited for this new year and for this season! So today I am back with Episode 2 of Season 4 and this episode is with a very special guest; Professional Dancer, Choreographer, Teacher and Creative Director of 'The IT Girls'... Tracy Dennis! A woman I both love and admire and who is someone that I have had the pleasure of working for over the last few years. In this week's episode I get to chat with Tracy about all things 'The IT Girls', how Tracy started in the industry, how she's run a super successful Luxury Entertainment Brand for nearly 20 years, her first ever professional job in Japan (WOW!) and her most recent business venture, her new 'Sparkle Like You Mean It' dance workshops! I would like to thank Tracy so much for her time, advice and honesty on today's episode. I think the work that she has created for herself and for SO many other women and men is absolutely inspiring and I genuinely wish everyone had a boss like Tracy Dennis. Hello and a very fabulous welcome to Season 4 of 'Thanks, That's All For Today!' Have you missed me? I've missed you! It's been too long! I'm back from New York and wanted to squeeze in an episode with this amazing guest before I am off again to Canada! It really is a fantastic episode - which we recorded back in May before my next guest landed one of the biggest roles in 21st Century Musical Theatre! So today I am back with Episode 1 of Season 4 and this episode is with my very special guest; west end performer and current leading lady of Heathers the Musical (London) it's the unstoppable, Erin Caldwell! In this week's episode I get to chat with the Scottish beauty about her tenacity and drive within the industry, her training at GSA, her previous successes, including Pretty Woman (West End) and how she landed the role, her television work in Scotland as a young actor and her experience as a runner for major theatre casting Director Jim Arnold. I would like to thank Erin so much for her time, genuine advice and honesty on today's episode. I only wish I'd had to opportunity to listen to Erin's podcast earlier in my career - because her advice on dance calls is so valuable!
