Vedic Astrology Weekly Forecast October 4 -10

October 4 - 10: TURN DOWN THE VOLUME Venus has begun the retrograde cycle that observationally takes her into the blaze and pushes her out on the other side of the Sun in the zodiac. The weather pattern that sees excitable retrograde Venus and her ride-or-die Mercury, cutting it up on the dance floor through October is even more amplified by Rahu and Mars pumping air and heat toward Libra. This feels busy, exciting, too much, and not enough. The waning Moon starts the week by entering its own sign of Cancer, joining Mars and Jupiter, marking the beginning of the week as a good time to reset plans based on new perspectives. The week ends with the Moon joining the Sun in Virgo for the new Moon, indicating that as the week progresses, it is wise to listen to signals from the body and mind that are asking for rest and a slower pace. While both Mars and Rahu are agitating matters in Libra, Mars’ exact aspect to the Mercury - Venus pairing tightens this week, perhaps bringing frustration to negotiations. Mars also aspects Rahu, but that aspect is loosening, showing that we could more creatively apply our force this week, moving projects and connections forward, but not necessarily in a straight line. Mercury and Venus trade the lead through a planetary war waged on Tuesday and Wednesday, offering the interplay between what we want and what makes sense, between what we value and what actually works. With Mars and Rahu adding radical ideas to the conversation, discernment becomes increasingly crucial. As the Moon eventually retreats into Mercury’s sign of Virgo and goes dark on Saturday, the answer may not be another idea or another action, but enough quiet to hear ourselves think. This is a good week to slow down, attend to details, and dig into matters of the heart and mind with a bit of analytical perspective. Build in time for self care and reflection while at the same time holding space for the continuing growth streak. DAILY KEYWORDS & NOTES SUNDAY OCTOBER 4: MORNING DEW Moon in Punarvasu, K9. Find clarity in stillness. Return to what feels restorative and reset plans based on a refreshed perspective. Allow the emotional landscape to settle before deciding what comes next. MONDAY OCTOBER 5: CLEAN PLATE Moon in Pushya, K10. Take time to enjoy what nourishes you and your work. Feed what sustains growth, finish what is already on your plate, and stop feeding what merely consumes resources. TUESDAY OCTOBER 6: LOW TIDE Moon in Ashlesha, K11. Mercury-Venus planetary war; Venus wins. Low tide reveals what is normally underwater. Notice what becomes visible as emotional waters recede, but resist the Tuesday/Mars impulse to immediately attack or fix what you discover. WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 7: BLIND FAITH Moon in Magha, K12. Mercury-Venus planetary war; Mercury wins. Strong Mercury energy on Wednesday. Use analysis and discernment where they are useful, but recognize where analysis reaches its limit. Know what you know, acknowledge what you cannot know, and leave some room for trust. THURSDAY OCTOBER 8: SWEET GESTURE Moon in Purvaphalguni, K13. Favor generosity, affection, creativity, pleasure, and social grace. Smooth rough edges where possible and do something kind without turning it into a transaction. FRIDAY OCTOBER 9: SHADOW PLAY Moon in Uttaraphalguni, K14. Saturn shifts to Uttarabhadra. With the Moon nearly dark and Venus retrograde, relationships, agreements, commitments, and responsibilities may reveal another side. Observe and review rather than rushing toward conclusions. SATURDAY OCTOBER 10: SMALL BREAK Moon in Hasta, K15. New Moon joins the Sun at 24° Virgo. Hasta and Virgo may want to keep working, fixing, analyzing, and improving, but Amavasya asks for a pause. Put the tools down for a minute. Rest the hands, body, nervous system, and analytical mind before beginning again. Hello! I’m Kerry Shamblin and I practice jyotisha, also known as Vedic astrology. October 2026 Vedic Astrology Forecast

October brings movement, revision, and an increasing sense that larger changes are beginning to unfold. Venus turns retrograde in Libra on October 2, beginning a creative and relational reworking that intensifies as Mercury joins her in retrograde motion on October 24, all while Rahu and Mars amplify an already active Libra environment. Retrograde Saturn returns to Uttarabhadra, reminding us to keep checking foundations rather than rushing toward completion, while the new Moon in Virgo offers a needed pause before the Sun joins the gathering in Libra. The full Moon in Aries on October 25 provides perspective amid the swirl, and Jupiter’s move from Cancer into Leo on October 30 opens the next major chapter: a developing interaction between Jupiter, Mars, and Ketu that could bring deep and consequential change through the months ahead. Keep schedules flexible, stay connected, trust useful intuitive signals, and be ready to adjust when the landscape shifts. Hello! Vedic Astrology Weekly Forecast September 27 - October 3

September 27 - October 3: ROOM TO MOVE The week beginning Sunday, September 27th starts with a newly waning Moon shining brightly from Pisces, at the side of retrograde Saturn, as the Sun moves through the middle degrees of Mercury’s earth sign, Virgo. After moving to Aries, the Moon enjoys alone time through the week, traversing the empty first few signs of the zodiac. This could create a sense of space and perspective, inviting moments of rest in the midst of a continuing busy streak. While we aren’t seeing any other planets shifting signs this week, we are seeing the current framework settling in for what could be the background to a dynamic October and November. Rahu and Ketu are sinking toward the early degrees of Aquarius and Leo, finishing up their current transit toward the end of November, pulling us in deeply toward a conversation about transforming legacy structures into what matches current conditions. Mars settles into his Cancer debility with exalted Jupiter, which offers us the opportunity for a major transformative shift that will require finesse in deploying force as we navigate changes in the upcoming months. Gaining positive encouragement and guidance from Jupiter, Mars then applies his strength and push toward his normal aspect angles, currently landing in Libra, Capricorn, and Aquarius. This pulls the puffed up strength of Mars into the whole Rahu, Mercury, and Venus story, building a theme of excitement, enthusiasm, and amplified activity. On Friday, Venus at 15 degrees Libra will initiate a retrograde cycle, increasing the tempo in Libra which only continues through October as Mercury also retrogrades on the 24th. This tempo could be quite frenetic, but also exhilarating in some cases, when it comes to creative streaks and magical connections. It is also an indication of shifting ground ahead, with the imminent Jupiter, Ketu, Mars action starting in November.  DAILY KEYWORDS/NOTES SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 27: RECYCLE Moon in Revati, K1–2. Revisit what has recently been completed and consider what can be reused, repurposed, or carried forward in another form. MONDAY SEPTEMBER 28: CHECK IN Moon in Ashwini, K2–3. Before charging forward, check your energy, direction, and resources. Make sure you’re ready for where you’re headed. TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 29: SLOW ROLL Moon in Bharani, K4. Keep moving without forcing the pace. Give developing situations enough containment and time to mature. WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 30: CLEAN CUT Moon in Krittika, K5. Edit, prune, separate, and simplify. Remove what no longer belongs so your energy can go toward what does. THURSDAY OCTOBER 1: PROMOTE GROWTH Moon in Rohini, K6. Mars exactly aspects Mercury. Put energy and attention behind projects, ideas, or habits with genuine potential for growth. FRIDAY OCTOBER 2: TEND RELATIONSHIPS Moon in Mrigashira, K7. Venus stations retrograde at 15° Libra. Notice what asks for renewed attention in relationships, agreements, resources, values, and creative pursuits. SATURDAY OCTOBER 3: UNEXPECTED WIN Moon in Ardra, K8. Sun-Saturn opposition becomes exact October 3–4. Stay flexible when circumstances shift; a disruption or changed plan may reveal an unexpectedly useful opening. #vedicastrology #weeklyforecast #siderealastrology Hello! Vedic Astrology Weekly Forecast September 20 - 26

September 20 - 26: CHAIN REACTION We are seeing the Moon waxing this week, starting in the sign of Sagittarius on Sunday, moving past Rahu mid-week, and culminating with the full Moon in Pisces on Saturday, September 26.  Other than the Moon, Mercury is the only other planet shifting this week, moving out of Virgo where Saturn was slowing him down and providing structure. On Friday, Mercury slides into Libra, joining Venus. Libra is a focal point this week, with both of the rajas planets, Mercury and Venus joining up to get things moving. Not only is that combination lively and inspiring, those planets and the whole sign of Libra are receiving the compound aspect of Rahu from Aquarius and Mars from Cancer. Additionally, Mars from Cancer now aspects Rahu, so watch where you throw those sparks. And Venus, receiving the compound aspect of Rahu and Mars, is strongly potent in her own sign of Libra and is specifically in the constellation known as Swati, where Rahu’s rulership dwells as an underlayment.  This is a dynamic, potent, reactive, and wildly creative combination that could yield an amazing amount of action this week. Understand that putting both Mars and Rahu in the cauldron could cause quick and unexpected reactions. Be careful with chemistry this week and you may be able to exponentially grow your current projects. The ideas will be flying this week! The full Moon on Saturday hovers near retrograde Saturn, bringing clarity to puzzling situations and inviting us to pivot toward getting started and away from further preparation. Mars exactly aspects Rahu as the Moon becomes full on September 26. Moon will be in Jupiter ruled Pisces, with Uttarabhadra nakshatra layering in an even deeper Saturn influence.  DAILY KEYWORDS/NOTES SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 20: FLOW INTO FINISH The waxing Moon moves through Purvashada in Sagittarius. Carry forward what is already moving and direct your energy toward completion. Let momentum do some of the work rather than starting over. MONDAY SEPTEMBER 21: STANDING BALANCE The Moon moves through Uttarashada as we reach the autumnal equinox. Find stability while conditions shift around you. Stand firmly in what is working while remaining willing to adjust your balance. TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 22: STABLE SATURATION The Moon moves through Shravana as the waxing cycle continues to build. Allow ideas and information to soak in. Listen, absorb, and give developing situations enough time to become clear before acting. WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 23: MOVE AND GROOVE The Moon moves through Dhanistha as the week’s energy begins to accelerate. Find the rhythm, coordinate your resources, and move with what is gaining momentum. THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 24: WILD RIDE The Moon moves through Shatabhisha and past Rahu as the nodes return to retrograde motion. Expect some unpredictability and leave room for sudden changes. Stay flexible and be careful where you throw your sparks. FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 25: SHIFT GEARS Mercury enters Libra and joins Venus as the Moon moves through Purvabhadra. Ideas, conversations, collaborations, and creative projects can accelerate quickly. Change your approach when necessary and use the increased activity productively. SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26: ONWARD AND UPWARD The full Moon in Pisces moves through Uttarabhadra near retrograde Saturn while Mars exactly aspects Rahu. Clarity can emerge around situations that have required patience and preparation. Take what you’ve learned, make the necessary adjustments, and move forward. Hello! Vedic Astrology Weekly Forecast September 13 - 19

September 13 - 19: MAKE IT STICK We begin this week with a waxing Moon who joins Mercury in Virgo, finishing out the Mercury themed last week where we pulled together our resources and strength. There will be a few more days of the planets forming a chain by occupying adjacent signs, giving last week a feeling of flow and momentum. While things will keep flowing this week, the underlying shift is toward commitment to deep change. That momentum keeps clicking with strong Mercury placed in Virgo, giving us the opportunity to practice our methodology with the added aspect of retrograde Saturn helping us build and rebuild the structures around what we are actively working on. This is strong, active energy that centers around exchanging better, updated habits for legacy habits that don’t support healing or growth. This week, we see the two masculine, fiery planets changing signs, with the Sun moving to Virgo on September 16 and Mars moving into Cancer September 18. This sets up two situations that will have short and long term relevance. With Saturn in occupation of Pisces, Sun in Virgo sets up our annual Sun-Saturn opposition, bringing themes of tension between hierarchical structures and popular demands. Another note about the Sun is that this will be the first week in quite awhile where the Sun does not combust any planets! That could translate to feeling like all the separate actors are doing their parts without interference from the director, resulting in Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter being able to express their agendas outside of the Sun’s powerful orb. All three of these natural benefics are strongly placed this week: Jupiter exalted in Cancer, Venus in her own sign Libra, and Mercury powerfully dignified in Virgo. Use this growing clarity to keep yourself on track. The longer term set up comes from Mars joining Jupiter in Cancer. We are looking ahead to an extended state of interaction between Mars, Jupiter, and Ketu who will ply between Cancer and Leo, creating a dramatic planetary set up that could foster deep changes from November 2026 through March 2027. Daily Keywords & Notes: SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 13: DESIGN CHALLENGE Chitra and Shukla Tritiya support creativity, skill development and constructive problem-solving. With the Moon moving from Virgo into Libra and joining Venus, take something functional and make it better. Design, edit, rearrange, learn a technique, improve presentation, or solve a problem creatively. Let beauty and usefulness work together. MONDAY SEPTEMBER 14: WIND BLOWN Swati and Shukla Chaturthi favor removing obstacles without becoming rigid about the solution. Declutter, troubleshoot, repair, simplify schedules, clear unnecessary commitments, and make room for movement. Don’t try to control every variable; remove what is obviously in the way and leave some breathing room. TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 15: FINISHING TOUCH Vishakha and Shukla Panchami support focused growth, learning and refinement. Complete details, polish work already underway, study what needs improvement, tend health or healing practices, and bring something closer to readiness. Direct ambition toward completion rather than continually expanding the project. WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 16: NEW CONNECTION The Moon moves through Anuradha after beginning the day near its deepest debilitation point, while the Sun enters Virgo. Allow emotional intensity to settle before deciding what it means. Anuradha favors friendship, cooperation, devotion and building alliances. Reach out, reconnect, collaborate, or discover a new relationship between pieces that previously seemed separate. THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 17: MAINTAIN BOUNDARIES Jyeshtha and Shukla Saptami favor capable leadership and purposeful action, but responsibility doesn’t require taking responsibility for everyone. Protect time and energy, clarify roles, maintain agreements, attend to health, and handle important matters directly. Know what belongs in your hands and what doesn’t. FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18: DEEP WORK The Moon moves from Jyeshtha toward Mula during Shukla Ashtami as Mars enters Cancer. Choose work that benefits from concentration, courage and willingness to confront what’s underneath the surface. Investigate, research, tackle a difficult task, address a persistent problem, or work at the root rather than treating symptoms. Avoid wasting force on emotional reactivity. SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19: LET GO Mula and Shukla Navami make this a powerful day for uprooting what no longer supports growth. Break a habit, purge clutter, remove a weak component, clean deeply, simplify, or release an attachment to how something was supposed to happen. Saturn’s aspect encourages deliberate rather than impulsive removal. Let go of what has already shown you it cannot come forward. Hello! Vedic Astrology Weekly Forecast September 6 - 12

This week has an underlying Mercurial theme, as Mercury leaves the currently complicated sign of Leo, strongly glowing with the Sun’s presence while also showing us the long term rough patches that obstructionist Ketu has revealed since mid-2025, recently loosened and revealed after the August eclipse cycle. Mercury moves on to more productive things, entering his own sign of Virgo on Sunday, September 6th, where he gains the compound aspect of Saturn, who supports Mercury’s humble approach to practice, and Mars, who shares Mercury’s enthusiasm for efficiently getting work done. The waning Moon begins the week joining Mars in Mercury’s air sign, Gemini. Moving through Cancer and meeting with Jupiter on Monday and Tuesday, we could benefit from some self care and reconnection. Wednesday seems vulnerable, with the Moon moving past Ketu into its final waning phase, protect your energy. On Thursday, the Moon pivots as it glides invisibly past the Sun in Leo for the new Moon, providing a pregnant pause where we can see what comes next after an active summer begins to come to a close. The newly waxing Moon joins Mercury in Virgo to finish the week, indicating that this is a week for finishing up Mercury’s analytical air side of current projects or situations, pausing and pivoting on Wednesday and Thursday, and with a push from a newly waxing Moon, move toward hands on, practical implementation as the week ends. Mercury’s underlying influence comes with it strongly moving into Virgo, but we also have the Moon starting and ending the week occupying Mercury ruled signs, and we have retrograde Saturn placed in a Mercury ruled nakshatra, aspecting Virgo. And pushing Mercury toward an energetic week is Rahu’s aspect to Gemini jump starting Mars, whose force then projects toward Mercury in Virgo.  September in general is providing good energy for clearing, processing, and producing. Coming up in October, both Mercury and Venus will take retrograde motion in Libra, and with the extra amplification of Rahu’s aspect, things could get exciting. Prepare for what you can’t see coming by reorganizing, settling on schedules, and finishing up important foundational tasks.  Daily Keywords & Notes: Sunday, Sept 6— FINISH TO START Ardra/Punarvasu, K10–K11, Moon + Mars, Mercury enters Virgo. Excellent for finishing lingering work, sorting information, making repairs, clearing communications, completing a task that has been blocking the next one, and getting tools/materials in order. Mars can make the Moon impatient; use that force on the work rather than the people. Monday, Sept 7 — YES AND NO Pushya, K12, Moon in Cancer. This is discernment through nourishment: what gets fed and what doesn’t? Restore energy, tend home, food, family and practical resources; maintain what is worth maintaining. A good day for boundaries precisely because Pushya’s impulse is to nourish. Tuesday, Sept 8 — TAKE THE WIN Ashlesha, K13, Moon + Jupiter. K13/Jaya supports accomplishment and resolution, while Jupiter gives some breadth to what could otherwise become Ashlesha entanglement. Finish negotiations, solve something complicated, recognize progress, consolidate a gain. Don’t keep wrestling after you’ve won.  Wednesday, Sept 9 — CLEAN SWEEP Magha, K14. Very strong pairing. Rikta Chaturdashi plus Magha/Ketu: discard, purge, clean, sever, finish difficult business, clear inherited or habitual clutter, literally or metaphorically. With the Moon newly past Ketu and approaching darkness, conserve energy rather than beginning something demanding. Thursday, Sept 10 — SEEDS OF CHANGE Purva Phalguni, K15/Amavasya. Retreat, rest, observe, prepare. Purva Phalguni can remind us that regeneration requires pleasure, ease and receptivity—not constant productivity. Don’t dig the seed back up to see whether it’s growing. Let the pause be fertile. Friday, Sept 11 — GERMINATION Uttara Phalguni, S1, Moon + Mercury in Virgo. Start something modest and concrete. Make the schedule. Begin the routine. Organize the workspace. Put the first piece into production. Shukla Pratipada + Virgo favors small beginnings capable of becoming systems. Saturday, Sept 12 — HANG LOOSE Hasta, S2. Hasta could tempt you into gripping  too tightly. S2/Bhadra wants stabilization, while Hasta is skill of hand. Work with what’s in your hands, adjust as you go, make something, practice something, negotiate, cooperate. Competence without rigidity. Hello! September 2026 Vedic Astrology Forecast

September offers a productive stretch for preparation, rebalancing, and clearing the decks before a much more dynamic October arrives. Venus enters her own sign of Libra, Mercury moves strongly through Virgo before joining Venus late in the month, and exalted Jupiter continues to provide a supportive backdrop for growth. Mars enters Cancer on September 18th, beginning a longer dance with Jupiter, while the Sun’s move into Virgo initiates an opposition with retrograde Saturn that reminds us to balance personal intentions with practical realities. The new Moon in Leo offers a moment to rest and reset after August’s eclipses, while the full Moon in Pisces at month’s end brings us to a threshold: organize priorities, strengthen useful relationships and routines, release what isn’t coming along, and prepare for the creative and potentially chaotic changes gathering in October. Vedic Astrology Weekly Forecast August 20 - September 5

August 30 - September 5: BACK TO SCHOOL This week begins in a post-eclipse mood, with the Moon waning and swimming with retrograde Saturn in Pisces, reminding us to let the detritus flow toward the drain as we lift our eyes toward the road ahead. The story of August centered around the intense eclipse cycle that demanded digging deep, finding new perspectives, and letting go of legacy behaviors and situations that are preventing finding momentum in forward movement. As the Moon wanes through Aries and Taurus mid-week, we may feel a bit more mental clarity as the Moon remains bright even though it’s waning. The Moon will be traversing empty signs, putting less pressure on our reactive minds. Aries and Taurus will help us as we come into the present moment after a couple of weeks that may have forced us to reconcile with past choices. Reacquaint with the plan, initiate actions, and clean the drawing board as new details and ideas emerge. Venus moves out of debilitation in Virgo on Wednesday, which included the aspect of both pushy Mars and heavy Saturn. Venus moves into Libra, her own air sign, which is a heads up for some of the upcoming retrograde energy in October and November as both Venus and Mercury buzz into retrograde motion together. This looks like the tides changing as we move into the fall season, so use the weeks of September to simplify, clarify, and calibrate plans to the current landscape. Moving into Libra, Venus leaves behind the fitted structures of Saturn and Mars’ aspect but moves into the windy, amorphous aspect of Rahu from Aquarius. Be not surprised at the cascade of outrageous, creative ideas that may begin to swirl as this week comes to a close. Jupiter spends two more months in Cancer before setting off the second set of planetary interest that will form in November and December as Jupiter, Ketu, and Mars begin to gather in the cauldron.  For now, with Jupiter alone in Cancer until Mars joins on September 15th, find your groove in the sense of getting ahead of, integrating, and processing the life lessons that are guiding you back to your path. This week, Mercury, the curious student, the intellectual mind, the commerce, and the communications, races ahead of the Sun, eager to move toward putting his energy into studies, remedies, harvesting, and digesting information. A great time to get back to lesson plans of all kinds. Daily Keywords & Notes: Sunday Aug 30: WEIGH ANCHOR. Moon Pisces/Uttarabhadrs/K3.  Actions: assess responsibilities, finish difficult work, make mature decisions, organize resources, determine what is worth carrying forward. Don’t hurry the departure. Monday Aug 31: SLIP THE LINES. Moon Pisces/Revati/K4.  Actions: finish, release, clean, cancel unnecessary obligations, complete journeys, organize for transition, consciously leave something behind Tuesday Sept 1: STAY THE COURSE. Moon Aries/Ashwini/K5. Mars in Gemini moves from Ardra to Punarvasu Actions: repairs, remedies, exercise, decisive problem-solving, restart something that stalled, return to a useful plan. Wednesday Sept 2: REPLENISH STOREHOUSE. Moon Aries/Bharani/K6. Venus moves to Libra.  Actions: edit budgets, prune projects, simplify systems, clean, organize, make practical cuts, improve diet/routines, eliminate inefficiency. Thursday Sept 3: TRIM THE FAT. Moon Taurus/Krittika/K7. Actions: edit budgets, prune projects, simplify systems, clean, organize, make practical cuts, improve diet/routines, eliminate inefficiency. Friday Sept 4: BUSINESS UNUSUAL. Moon Taurus/Rohini/K8.  Actions: creative business, design, purchases with discernment, gardening, production, unconventional problem-solving, experiment with a better way. Saturday Sept 5: WHIRLING DERVISH. Moon Gemini/Mrigashira/K9. Nodes direct. Actions: research, brainstorm, run errands, investigate options, clear informational clutter, discard weak ideas, follow curiosity without making every curiosity a commitment.
