Catch The Very Deep Vinyl Groove / Sep 2026

Deep House Vinyl Session A deep-house excursion pressed entirely to wax—patient, spacious and built for full immersion. This session follows a quietly hypnotic path through Ron Trent’s spiritual rhythms, Simoncino’s cosmic Detroit-rooted machine funk, Bass Cab’s sparse pulse, and DJ Koze’s beautifully off-centre atmospheres. There is no rush for the big moment here. The energy sits low, the groove runs deep and each record is given time to reveal its detail: warm drum programming, dubby space, subtle melody, restless percussion and properly late-night bass weight. A vinyl-only set for aanyone drawn to the more introspective side of house music. 01. Ron Trent – Electric Jungle 02. Simoncino – Warrior Dance (Ron Trent Mix) 03. Bass Cab – Sunrise 04. Simoncino – Cosmic Paradise (Larry Heard Mix) 05. DJ Koze – Candidasa 06. Bass Cab – Rhythm Puzzle 07. The Answer – World, Sky & Universe 08. Chez Damier & Ralph Lawson – Thank You 09. Catch The Groove / EP 100 / Live on Bondi Radio (House & Acid House)

Catch The Groove reaches its 100th Bondi Radio show with a deep-house session driven by a steady 124 BPM pulse, warm late-night textures and plenty of unmistakable 303 acid pressure. This milestone mix leans into the deeper end of the room: rolling basslines, dubbed-out chords and low-slung acid lines that keep surfacing throughout the journey. From Black Science Orchestra and Lucas Moinet through to Josh Wink, Felipe Gordon, Inner City and Acid Jerks, it’s a groove-first selection designed to unfold patiently rather than rush for the peak. Catch The Vinyl Disco Groove / August 2026

Brass, Funk & Disco — All Vinyl Session Regrettably I was unable to make it to my radio show last week due to other commitments, so to keep things ticking over I recorded an all vinyl session. A 124 BPM all-vinyl run through disco and nu-disco pressure, with brass-led hooks, heavyweight bass, clipped guitar and constant movement from the first record to the last. Pulled from the shelves and mixed on wax, this is a warm, physical session made for the dancefloor—where the swing, the edits and the groove do the talking. Tropical Disco Records, Samosa Records and Dave Lee feature heavily, alongside The Reflex, Dimitri From Paris and Hi Fi Sean. Jazz-funk, boogie, soul, disco classics and contemporary reworks sit together naturally, with the horn sections always close by. From Monsieur Van Pratt and Infradisco through to Cerrone, Fire Island, Earth, Wind & Fire and Mass Production, it is bright, soulful and unapologetically built to move. 01. Monsieur Van Pratt – Jazz Player 02. Kikko Esse – Reloaded 03. Infradisco – Augasana 04. Rosario Cristofaro – From My Soul (Da Lukas Remix) 05. Fire Island feat. Loleatta Holloway – Shout To The Top (Hi Fi Sean Remix) 06. James Brown – Funky Man (Dimitri From Paris Remix) 07. The Reflex – ANSUN 08. Cerrone – Look For Love (Reflex Revision) 09. Monsieur Van Pratt – Inner Funk 10. Lex & Locke – Balandra 11. Simon Kennedy – One Number 12. Earth, Wind & Fire – Can’t Let Go (Dave Lee Remix) 13. Samuel Jonathan Johnson – You (Dave Lee Remix) 14.
