Episode #4: Mentorship in the Fire Service

In this episode we dive into the importance of mentorship within the Fire Service. We define what mentorship is, how it differs from instructors or teachers, and how Companies can introduce informal mentorship amongst their crew. We also discuss personal experience and expectations of the formal mentorship process and hi-light what makes a good mentor.

Episode #3: Creating Company vision, and cultivating crew cohesiveness.

In this episode we dive head first into creating the Company Vision. The only way to get multiple people and personalities to head in one direction is to give them a destination and the direction in which to go. Todays fire service requires a little bit different approach to intrapersonal communication, and how small groups take ownership of where they want to go. In the new year our goal is to inspire Companies to dive into why they exist, where they’re headed, and how they’re gonna get there together. Episode #2: Clean Cabs make Grabs!

Episode #2 puts together a strong case for how the Clean Cab concept is making the most grabs. I'll introduce you to a piece from the Ole' 18 Training blog that was created after an impromptu rig tour after a public demonstration exercise. Again, keeping with the theme of short and to the point, I'll read, rant, and then provide action items to ensure we make more Grabs, with Clean Cabs.  Ole 18 Training Co. on Wordpress @_theole18training_ on Instagram @tylerhenderson267 on TikTok

    Episode #1-The Intro

Short, quick, and to the point! Who am I, what are we, and most importantly...WHY? The brakes are off, and we're gonna see where this ride takes us. Whether you are simply looking for information about the fire service, or already have some time on; we've got a chair for you at the SquadHouse kitchen table. Grab a cup, pick a chair, and lets talk about the best damn job on earth.  Take care of THEM, take care of each other, and keep doing great things!
