This episode kicks off with a heated debate about hair heat damage -- turns out the flat iron temperature you use on your real hair is the same temperature you bake chicken. Then Melissa shares the behind-the-scenes chaos of Kevin Fredericks' comedy special taping, where a camera miscommunication meant six cameras were NOT rolling for the first show. Joe comes home from college with a surprise visit that reveals he is the prickliest marshmallow child alive, and Isaiah's 7 AM printing emergency sparks a nostalgic deep dive into thumb drives and flash drives. Melissa has an epiphany about exercising her free will (starting with Wingstop orders), and Mel shares a modern-day Uber Eats miracle. Pop The Trunk brings a listener confession about falling in love with the Capone urban romance series and another caller venting about bogus employer hiring practices after months of job hunting. The sisters unpack the millennial economic squeeze -- student loans, housing costs, gas prices, and the Trump administration's plans to restrict student loans by degree field. TV talk covers the Willy Wonka Netflix competition show, Dancing With the Stars first-time watch obsession, Tatiana Ali and NSYNC Disney Channel nostalgia, Queen Latifah joining The Voice, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City drama, and a full Traitors season breakdown. This episode kicks off with Mel going unexpectedly viral on TikTok as thousands of people were literally looking for her online. Then Melanie opens up about the emotional toll of attending the Durk trial every single day -- the exhaustion, the heavy evidence, and the pressure of being a public figure in the courtroom. Melissa shares exciting news about her screenwriting journey, working with a mentor who believes in her raw talent. The sisters also talk about dropping Jo off at college, the chaos of lost wallets and DMV trips, and Isaiah's high school friends learning the hard way that paying rent does not equal having groceries. In pop culture, the sisters review Jackie Aina's new fragrance "Not Your Type" from Forever Mood, break down the unbelievable Dejon Love scammer story where a man posed as a 49ers player to con women out of $1.3 million, and dive deep into the Married at First Sight reunion -- from Belle's long-overdue energy to Courtney's unchecked disrespect to Shawn and Nikki's toxic dynamic.
