We Need the Risen Christ | John 21:1-14 | Keith Norman

We are in week 70 of our sermon series walking through the book of John. Lead Pastor Keith Norman taught the congregation from the supporting text found in John 21:1-14 (NASB) in a sermon titled “Disoriented or Disobedient — The In Between Reminds Us: We Need The Risen Christ!"Sermon Notes: Disoriented or Disobedient — The In Between Reminds Us: We Need The Risen Christ! Transition (vv. 1-3) Transitions oft breed a comfortability that yields futility. Instruction (vv. 4-8)  Prosperity is often found in doing the little things His way. Homework: Pray, “Lord, what do you want to teach me? I’m committed to learning it & living it. What do you want me to do or not do? OK!!!” Provision (vv. 9-13)  That for which we laboriously expend ourselves, Jesus already has. Jesus often offers provision through relationship rather than hocus pocus histrionics. Homework: “Jesus wants to provide, but do you want to come?” We are a church that's all about making disciples and serving others, the other six days.
