For those who know there’s more to health than just managing symptoms. We're addressing healthy aging, cellular intelligence, and reinvention for women 50+ who are not done living fully. If you’re doing all the “right things” and still not where you want to be, this podcast may challenge everything you’ve been told. Because more supplements, more effort, and more discipline aren’t always the answer. Most approaches focus on what to add. Very few address how the body already FUNCTIONS at the cellular level. This podcast explores a deeper approach to healing and longevity, starting where it all begins. We talk about healthy aging, age reversal, your own biology, cellular health and the emerging science of cell signaling - without reducing the body to yet another supplement trend. Tools that work and those that may cause more harm than good. Through conversations with experts and real-life stories, we uncover: • why the body stops responding the way it used to • what most wellness tools are missing • and how to support the body in doing what it was designed to do If you’re ready to think differently, take ownership, and reactivate your health from the inside out at the roots, you’re in the right place. They Called Her Insane - Then She Built a Ministry of 100,000

What would make someone say a bipolar diagnosis saved their life? When I sat down with Lady Charmaine, we talked about the story you would never guess from her smile: childhood trauma, a demanding corporate career, and psychiatric hospital stays that few people knew about. Today, she’s an author of 20 books and leads an online ministry of 100,000 members. But how did she get from there to here? We explore the diagnosis that changed her understanding of herself, the role of therapy and psychiatric care alongside faith, and the courage it takes to accept help. You’ll also hear about her 80-pound weight-loss journey, an unexpected concept called “Zero Mathematics,” and a difficult question: how do you acknowledge what happened to you while taking responsibility for what happens next? "I Wasn't Supposed To Still Be Here" - She Tried It to Prove Him Wrong - Then Everything Changed

Some conversations deserve more attention and a second life. I originally recorded this conversation with Donnellyn Dominguez about three years ago, and when I recently went back into the Third Chances archives, I knew this one deserved to be brought back. Newly re-edited. WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/GV78ozJbK9gDonnellyn didn't become a midwife until her 50s. She went on to deliver more than 1,000 babies and built one of the largest birth centers in Texas. Then the woman who had spent years caring for others suddenly found herself facing a frightening health crisis of her own. What followed challenged everything she thought she knew, including her strong resistance to something she initially refused to even consider. In fact, when she finally agreed to try it, her intention was simple: She wanted to prove the person recommending it wrong. This conversation is about much more than health. We talk about reinvention later in life, skepticism, loss, purpose, the things we sometimes dismiss too quickly - and what can happen when life forces us to reconsider the path we thought we were on. At one point, the conversation became deeply personal for me as well. If you've ever had to start again, change your mind, or wonder whether your best chapter might still be ahead of you, this is one worth watching. Chapters:  7:40 — Starting over in her 50s 11:20 — The birth that changed her life 24:45 — When the caregiver became the patient 38:50 — The thing she wanted nothing to do with 43:15 — “I'll try it just to prove you wrong” 58:00 — Another unexpected reinvention 1:07:15 — When our conversation became personal 1:11:50 — Finding purpose in the hardest chapters This episode reflects Donnellyn's personal journey and experience. Strong After 60: The Confidence Muscle Nobody Talks About

What happens when a woman who once had only 19 cents in her bank account decides that her story will not end there? In this deeply personal episode of Third Chances, I sit down with fitness expert, author, and former Clemson University scholarship swimmer Marian Harris, a woman whose strength was forged through far more than exercise. Marian spent years describing herself as a people pleaser, holding on to an abusive marriage and believing that if she loved enough, gave enough, and tried hard enough, things might change.Leaving required courage. But healing presented an even harder challenge: forgiving her abuser and eventually learning to forgive herself for staying. With faith, gratitude, physical movement, and a willingness to begin again, Marian rebuilt her confidence and her life. Today, she helps women in midlife and beyond discover that strength is not only about what the body can do. It is also about what we survive, what we release, and how we choose to move forward. Her book, The 19 Cent Millionaire, reflects the journey that took her from rock bottom to a life devoted to helping other women become stronger, more resilient, and more confident especially after 60. In this conversation, we explore: Why a few good moments can keep us in a painful relationship far longer than we should stay What it took for Marian to finally leave her abusive marriage The difficult process of forgiving both her abuser and herself How faith and gratitude helped her rebuild her life The powerful connection between physical strength and mental resilience Why movement becomes even more important as women age What women over 60 need to stop believing about their bodies and their possibilities How to begin again when life has left you with almost nothing This episode is for the woman who has spent years putting everyone else first. The woman rebuilding after heartbreak, hardship, or loss. And the woman who may be wondering whether it is too late to become strong, confident, and excited about her life again. Marian’s story is a reminder that starting over does not erase what happened but it can change what happens next. If this conversation speaks to you, please subscribe to Third Chances, turn on notifications, and share this episode with a woman who needs to know that her age, and her past do not get to decide what is still possible. I thought it was a scam until my health collapse

Imagine running three different businesses, managing a 450-acre Texas cattle ranch, working hard, staying active, and moving through life like you're 30. But Leland Duyck was 62 when it happened. Drove home from his ranch in Oklahoma like many times before, went to bed at home in Texas, and the next morning, he woke up in pain and barely moving. Leland had spent 13 years working in orthopedic surgery, built and sold successful sports medicine companies, worked with professional athletes and Olympic programs, and spent a lifetime believing that when a problem appeared, you figured it out. But what happens when suddenly your body stops and you can't fix yourself? What happens when the treatments aren't giving you the answers you expected and things are getting worse instead of better? And what happens when something you've dismissed for almost two years suddenly becomes something you're desperate enough — and curious enough — to investigate? Leland's first reaction to cell signaling technology was skepticism: “I didn't study it in medical school, so I didn't think it was real.” In This Episode: • What followed when an incredibly active 62-year-old suddenly lost his ability to move normally • What finally made him investigate this unknown concept • How he evaluated it for himself • How his definition of health changed after his own health crisis • What decades of entrepreneurship taught him about success, family, and priorities • A deeply personal regret he shares about the years he spent building businesses  • Why rejection no longer bothers him • Why curiosity may be one of the most valuable qualities we can develop • And why Leland believes helping people starts by NOT making it about yourself WATCH THIS ON YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/-n-FCvJQhKIEditorial: This conversation originally aired back in 2023, when Third Chances was just getting started - and it received nowhere near the exposure this incredible story of hope deserved. So I brought it back. Re-edited. Repackaged. And absolutely worth your time! If you want to connect with Leland, please contact him through Facebook and Facebook Messenger. When the Business Isn't the Problem The Truth About Network Marketing, Mentorship & Doing It Right

What if the company isn't the problem? What if the product isn't the problem? And what if the business model isn't the problem either? That may be one of the harder questions to ask when something isn't working - because eventually, the finger has to turn around. WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/PUEV58aPPs0In this episode of Third Chances, I sat down once again with my mentor, Dr. David Silverman. Retired board-certified foot surgeon, longtime entrepreneur, global business leader, Mentor of the Year, and Business Builder of the Year. Who better to talk about the side of network marketing we rarely explored in our first conversation: the business itself? David has spent more than two decades in this industry. He didn't enter it blindly. Despite that, he had to walk away from network marketing more than once. That's a personal experience painful enough to teach valuable lessons. So I wanted to know: - Knowing everything he knows today, what would he evaluate before saying yes to an opportunity? - We talk about the due diligence most people never do, including the product, exclusivity, leadership, financial stability of the company and whether what you're building actually has the potential to last.- But we also go somewhere much more personal. Because joining the right company doesn't automatically make someone successful. - David shares why being motivated, coachable, and consistent matters more than previous credentials or business experience, and why even highly successful professionals often have to unlearn what made them successful somewhere else. That part hit home for me. I came into this industry as a network marketing "virgin" after a lifetime in sales, thinking I knew how and what to do. I didn't. I knew how to sell. Network marketing required me to learn something entirely different: how to listen, ask questions, present, mentor others, duplicate, and stop making myself the center of the process. David puts it simply: instead of walking into a conversation thinking, “What can I sell you?”, start with “How can I help?” We also talk about why some people treat a business like a hobby and then become disappointed when it pays like one, why mentorship has to go deeper than simply enrolling someone, and why personal growth may be one of the biggest - and most unexpected - returns this industry offers. If you've ever looked at network marketing and wondered whether it was legitimate… If you've tried it before and concluded that “it doesn't work”… Or if you're currently building and wondering why you're not getting the results you expected… This conversation may give you very different questions to ask. Maybe the business isn't the problem. In this episode, we explore: ~ What David would investigate before joining any network marketing company today ~ The difference between a legitimate company and a genuinely strong business opportunity ~ Why product exclusivity and company leadership matter ~ Why traditional sales skills don't automatically translate into network marketing ~ The shift from selling to listening, connecting, and helping ~ Why simplicity and duplication matter more than being impressive ~ The three qualities David looks for ~ What good mentoring actually looks like ~ Why “ready, fire, aim” creates so much frustration ~ How events and community can change belief ~ What this industry taught both of us about ourselves ~ Why building for time freedom can be very different from simply earning more money And what David would tell the skeptical version of himself today This conversation isn't really about convincing anyone to join network marketing. It's about learning how to evaluate it intelligently. And, if you choose it, build it successfully. If you enjoyed this episode, make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss what’s coming next. Can Negative Self-Talk Make You Sick? How Unreleased Stress and Emotions Lives in the Body

What horses, strength and emotional awareness can teach us about living fully WHAT IF the key to feeling better is not always doing more - but becoming more aware of what is happening inside your body and mind? In this conversation, I speak with Nicki Pakkala, physiotherapist, equestrian, former British Olympic modern pentathlete, Team USA age-group triathlete, and Integrated BodyTalk practitioner. Drawing from decades of her experience with elite athletes, horses, physical therapy, energy work, and helping people who have struggled for years, Nicki explains why lasting change often begins with a willingness to become a little uncomfortable. - That may mean lifting weights when you would rather avoid them. - Sitting with an emotion instead of trying to suppress it. - Questioning the thoughts that keep creating conflict. - Or finally deciding that you are done living with patterns that no longer serve you. Nicki also demonstrates a simple technique to help decrease stress and calm the body, and shares why more training is not always better—even for high-performance athletes. Together, we explore: - What working with horses can teach us about awareness and presence - Why strength training becomes increasingly important as we age - How trying to resist anger, sadness, grief, or fear can create even more suffering - Why emotional triggers lose their power when we learn to stop, notice, and allow them to move - The difference between responding from the heart and remaining trapped in drama or conflict  - How supporting the body can help people remain active, independent, and in their own homes longer - Why taking care of your body is like maintaining a vehicle - the better you care for it, the more life you can explore Nicki works with people who have often suffered for many years and have finally reached the point where they are ready to be done with it. They are willing to do the work, become present to what they feel, and gently peel away everything that has covered up who they truly are. As Nicki says: “We all have these amazing gifts, but we keep putting all that stuff on top of them until we can’t see them. I help people peel it off so they can see who they are.” Life brings waves of anger, sadness, grief, joy, laughter, and peace. The pain often comes from trying to stop those waves. We cannot stop the ocean—but we can learn how to flow with it. And Nicki’s final message is beautifully simple: Live your extraordinary. Go into your heart. It is already there - and it is yours to share.WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/GY3lNED-388Connect with Nicki here: EMAIL: nicki@englishoakhealing.com WEBSITE: https://www.englishoakhealing.com/ FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/nicki.pakkalaINSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/nickipakkala/ If you enjoyed this episode, make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss what’s coming next. How to Choose the Right Network Marketing Company and Build True Personal Wealth with Someone Who Made It

Everyone, and your uncle Tony, has an opinion about Network Marketing. I didn't - because I had zero experience before it found me. Which could be good and bad. Good because I wasn't influenced by someone's horror stories or bad experiences that are irrelevant to me or the business I'm building... and bad because I really didn't quite understand it at the beginning. Whatever your opinion is, the network marketing/direct selling market brings in about $164 billion per year. In the U.S. alone, direct selling/network marketing represents about $35 billion a year, with roughly 5.4 million people building it as a business or side income, and more than 34 million preferred customers and discount buyers participating in this industry.Of course, you have to differentiate based on your own personal criteria. This episode is a masterclass in - what to look for, what to avoid, how it works, and how it shouldn't, some misconceptions people have, and how you can be in your integrity while doing something that can influence other people's lives in a significant way. If you want to watch this episode on YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/C0QURxjYJicWhat makes someone walk away from network marketing for 8 years… and then come back with absolute certainty? In this episode of Third Chances Talk Show, Vera Czerny sits down with Alan Noble - Founding Diamond of ASEA, member of the $10 Million Earners Club, Global Advisory Council member, and 2020 inductee into The Network Marketing Pro Hall of Fame. This is not just a conversation about business. It is a masterclass on the importance of personal wealth, belief, leadership, choosing the right company, and building the right business for the right reasons. In this episode, we talked about: • Why Alan considers himself “psychologically unemployable” • Why he walked away from network marketing for 8 years • The two non-negotiables he needed before choosing a company again • How to separate the business model from the “bad actors” in the industry • Why sales, when done right, is really education • Why success is not about convincing people who are not looking • Why “what you have is a direct result of who you are” One of Alan’s most powerful reminders: “It’s OK if people don’t buy my story. I’m not here to change people’s eye color. But I’m not buying their story. I know what I know.” This episode is especially for network marketers, entrepreneurs, and purpose-driven professionals who are asking bigger questions about wealth, freedom, residual income, company choice, and what it really takes to build something lasting. If you have ever wondered whether you are building in the right place, with the right company, for the right reasons, this conversation might be eye-opening and worth your time. The Doctor Who Dismissed It… Until Life Made It Personal

You insure your homes, cars, phones, and almost everything you can replace. But what about the one thing you live in every single day - your body? This episode is about medicine. It's about not seeing the recoveries you, as a doctor, wish to deliver for your patients. Also about skepticism, aging, and quality of life. And the questions many of us avoid asking until something serious happens: How can we afford NOT TO invest in the body we depend on every single day? In this powerful episode, I bring back all-time favorite, Dr. Maureen Hayes, a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Specialist with over 30 years of experience in traditional medicine. Dr. Hayes shares her candid journey from skepticism to conviction, including the deeply personal wake-up call that came through first with her mom's return of bad diagnoses, and then her husband’s health crisis after deployment in Iraq. She went from swearing she would never tell a soul she was taking it… to believing she has a moral obligation and responsibility to share it with as many people as possible. We talk about western medicine, Redox technology, quality of life, age management, being proactive, the real price of losing your health, cellular health, RedoxGOLD next-generation technology, and why supporting the body at its most foundational level may be one of the most important decisions you can make. This is a heartfelt, funny, honest, and eye-opening conversation with a physician who left the white coat behind to make an even bigger impact. Dr. Hayes brings wisdom, humor, medical experience, Disney Princess charm, and a deep sense of moral responsibility to help people understand what is possible when the body is supported at the cellular level. Grab your favorite glass of wine and join us for a conversation that may make you think very differently about health, prevention, and the trillions of cells working for you every moment of your life. About
