    When I was a kid there were times when I got in big trouble. I mean the whole family would be sitting out in the living room enjoying a movie, while I had to be back up in my room cleaning. I may have messed up, but you know what, I was still part of the family. In today's message Pastor Ben wants you to know that if you've given your life to Jesus Christ, then God won't forsake you. You most certainly will experience conviction, but that's the Holy Spirit working to align you closer to God.     I don't know about you, but there are times when I wish I could get some solid answers. It seems like so often people are afraid to commit to making a statement. It seems like there's always a clause built in so that you have to choose to accept what people tell you at your own risk. Well in his message today Pastor Ben wants you to know that Jesus spoke with authority. Jesus said “most assuredly”, that means He was personally guaranteeing whatever He said was 100% true.     Jesus knew without a doubt that His Father loved Him, and lived with authority in the knowledge that He is loved and known. You and I can live with the same authority because we too are loved, and known by our Heavenly Father just as Jesus was. He wants what's best for you, and He's created a full and free life for you through His blood, and your obedience.     There are a lot of unexplainable things in the Bible. There are a lot of things that we don't and can't understand, because we're human, we're not God. In today's message Pastor Ben teaches that even if we find something we don't understand, something that isn't fully noted, or even something we don't agree with we still have to accept it. We can't take or add to the scriptures at all. We have to trust that God put together the Bible exactly how He wanted, so we can understand what we need to.     Traditions and laws like worship music, or church attire have changed, and mostly for the good. The traditions and unspoken rules we were stuck in weren't helpful. They were actually keeping people from the church due to a lack of acceptance. God doesn't change. We just need to accept His plan. In today's message Pastor Ben will remind you that everything is about Jesus, and for Jesus. If the music, the people, or the church itself becomes more important than God and His people we're doing something wrong.     Jesus taught and proved that people are more important than rules. They always have been, and they always will be. Rules are simple guidelines for the people. Without people we wouldn't need any rules. In today's message Pastor Ben will encourage you to take people, and their needs, wants, and emotions into consideration when going about your life. Jesus taught that the Sabbath rules although good, could sometimes be more harmful than helpful, when people forgot about one another.     There is no condition, no sickness, no possible factors in this world that can hold you back from Christ and His mission for you. The biggest setback in the world, death, has already been overcome by our savior. What else could stop us if He's with us? Nothing.     There are a lot of unfair things in this world that are unexplainable and incomprehensible to our human minds. We can't understand, because we have a very limited amount of knowledge. In today's message Pastor Ben will recognize that life is unfair. But what we need to accept is that we don't know everything. But we have a relationship with the one God who does.
