    LCDLB x Venganza

    Today’s episode features an interview with Venganza!!! Venganza are from my hometown, Zaragoza (Spain), and they play hardcore punk, influenced mainly by Iberian punk bands. Oh, and this episode is in Spanish. I interviewed them in the van while we were touring together, and I figured that between the road noise and English being our second language, it might be a bit hard to follow... Turns out the sound is actually pretty good! And if you don’t understand Cervantes’ language, no worries, you can still enjoy their songs, which I drop in here and there during the episode, hehe. Venganza are not just a great band, they are also good friends. I’ve known some of them for decades, and with two of them I even played in a band called Plaga. I did not remembered this, but while doing a bit of research to introduce them, I was reminded that they recorded their first demo in my old rehearsal space in Madrid, where we used to rehearse with Perräs Salvajes, and I even did some backing vocals on it.     La Casa de la Bomba x Mic AN SLUA

    Yay! First episode of the year—and it only took me two months to finally put it out 😄
So here it is: an interview with the wonderful Mic, singer (and sometimes bass player) of An Slua, the punk Oi! band from Galway, Ireland. I absolutely love their music and their style. And one of the first things that really caught my attention about An Slua was their vegan, anti-speciesist lyrics. But that’s not all they talk about at all… they also dive into things like the housing crisis (which is massive in Ireland), work, mental health, and a lot more. In this interview we have a really candid, spontaneous conversation about all of these topics. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.     LCDLB - Gustav För Vidare Läsning

    I interviewed Gustav from För Vidare Läsning-För Vidare Lyssning! Gustav is involved in a lot of interesting things: he runs a fanzine, organises gigs, and publishes releases through his label, the next one being a compilation that he describes as “an audio snapshot of what’s stirring in the experimental Malmö underground in 2025, featuring four lengthy tracks from some of the most exciting artists currently based in the city.” We talk about that, but also about the many other DIY underground projects that have kept Gustav busy over the last few years. During the interview, I also played parts of the four tracks included on the compilation. I hope you enjoy! On a more personal note, I have an exhibition coming up! I will be showing all the hand-painted gig posters I’ve made over the past years while living in Malmö, Sweden.     La Casa de la Bomba x Jake Conroy

    I went to the Copenhagen Animal Liberation Conference and interviewed Jake Conroy!!Conroy, a longtime animal rights activist based near Seattle, Washington, has spent decades fighting for animal liberation and has witnessed firsthand the highs and lows of radical activism. He is best known for his role in the Stop Huntington Animal Cruelty (SHAC) campaign, which targeted Huntington Life Sciences, a laboratory that tested products ranging from food colouring and artificial sweeteners to oven cleaners on non-human animals such as rats, rabbits, pigs, dogs, marmosets, and macaques, and killed about 500 animals every day. We talked about animal liberation, collective liberation, how doing time in prison affected him, pressure campaigns (his favorite), and hip hop and hardcore punk!!
