this was a really excellent show, gripping and very entertaining.

Very accurate pic of Belize, I fear - coming fm someone born and raised here. Ms Hartin’s odessy felt like a Kafkaesque fever dream for sure. Prolly could’ve gone w/o episodes on getting-to-know-the-Aschrofts, but I get their utility for someone unfamiliar w/ them.

There are many ways in which this story could have been told, all of which could have been done in 3 episodes or less. Instead, it is 12 drawn out episodes of a somewhat interesting story of crime and corruption, overshadowed by the host’s obvious romantic attraction toward the main character. Without having the patience to finish the series, I can only hope that Josh finds the love that he desires from someone other than a preoccupied potential murder.

I didn’t know about this story prior to listening. The more I listen, the more I feel like the journalist is pretty one-sided for Jasmine.
