The Continuum Podcast

Adam Long & Kyle Stacey

The Continuum Podcast is somehow the very definition of being able to continue an endless conversation from episode to episode, made up of multiple subjects and discussions that Adam (the English one) & Kyle (the South African one) know very little about. The guys share their thoughts and opinions allowing the listeners to be the “fly on the wall” on what everyday conversations between somewhat "normal" people are actually like. Enjoy the almost seamless splicing of the Continuum Podcast, which shares high points and low – but is a great conversation of discovery between two friends that don’t really know each other, but have a good laugh along the way. 192 - Ancient Recipes to Drunkard Stories

Kyle and Adam keep digging through the history books for old-fashioned recipes, and they immediately fall out over corned beef hash. Kyle swears by it (Spam version included), while Adam is disgusted by anything that came out of a tin. From there they work through wartime cooking: the meatless Woolton pie, the eggless, butterless, milkless Warcake, and Victorian mock turtle soup, which leads to a lot of confusion about what a turtle tastes like, when the Victorian era actually was, and the Great Fire of London. The tangents keep coming. Alice in Wonderland and the original Winnie the Pooh books turn out to be much weirder than expected, and sherry gets an unexpectedly thorough investigation (it's a Spanish white wine, and no, the port and starboard joke doesn't land). Adam remembers a wine tasting where his friend's very direct Russian wife shut down the sommelier's sales pitch, and the guys ask why the British can't be that blunt without a few drinks in them. Which brings us to Adam's first properly drunk night: a staff party, a Guinness and Baileys, a lot of regret, and a kind chef called Jason. Next week, the drunkard stories continue. 185 - Spider-Noir Episode 7 to The Finale - Review

The end is in sight, and Adam and Kyle are back for the penultimate episode of their Spider‑Noir review series. As the web starts tightening around every major character, old loyalties are tested, secrets refuse to stay buried, and everyone seems to be looking for the same man. With Silvermane ramping up his campaign for control of the city, the boys dive into shifting alliances, questionable decision-making, and a growing sense that the final showdown is getting closer by the minute. Meanwhile, Ben Riley finds himself at a crossroads, wrestling with responsibility, betrayal, and whether being a hero is actually worth the trouble. The episode delivers some of the biggest action scenes of the series so far, finally giving Adam and Kyle more of the Spider‑Noir action they've been asking for. Between bar brawls, street fights, web-slinging chaos, and a few brilliantly awkward Nicolas Cage moments, there's plenty for the lads to get stuck into. There are laughs, predictions, and more than a little frustration directed at certain characters, as the guys try to work out who can still be trusted and who might be heading for disaster in the finale. With the stakes higher than ever and the finish line now in sight, this episode sets the stage perfectly for the final chapter. Action-packed, entertaining, and packed with momentum, it's one of the strongest entries in the series so far.
