    Episode 139...Ghost Riders on the Storm

    There's a new digital legend on the rise of a mysterious rider on a bike terrorizing a dark road. Only problem is, the story may disappear quicker than a ghostly hitchhiker. But with a deep history of spooks and spokes, it's easy to see why the story is gaining traction. We'll look at stories of Ghost Riders across the country before turning our eyes to Venice, where a local hero may still be around looking for glory.     Episode 137...Is the Ghost in the Details?

    To everything there is a season...turn, turn, turn.   There's a new Tripper in town and some old legends to look at again.   Episode 137 introduces Morticia to the show. We'll look at where she's from and where she wants to go.   And we may start with one of the original legend trips.     Episode 136...This Redhead Ain't Hitchin

    The Redheaded Hitchhiker of Route 44 has become one of the most well-known ghost stories in New England...or is he the Redheaded Phantom...or does it matter? A strange thing happened on the way to Volco Road. The name of Big Red came up, as he always does when there's a lonesome road and a ghost walking. What began as a journey to find when his name changed became a whole new crossroads.     Episode 135...The Curse of de Soto

    It started as a theme for Haunted Southwest Florida, but the more digging that happened, the more the rabbit hole became a labyrinth. There's something up with the name Hernando de Soto. It's hidden just below the surface of so many of the haunted legends on the Gulf Coast of Florida, springing up like a weed hinting at something rotten below the surface. …and then there's the story of his daughter and how the sleepy city of Sarasota got its name. Join Christopher Balzano as he traces the ghostly legends in the area linked to a curse placed on the infamous Conquistador Hernando de Soto.     Episode 134...Don't Play That Game

    Ghosts have a way of working their way into the things we become obsessed with. Focus your energy someplace long enough, haunted tales of fascination will trail along. What are we more obsessed with than video games. From hours spent dropping coin after coin to days spent in front of the screen trying to complete the level, it is no wonder so many urban legends about curses and video games have made their way into our modern narrative. Join Christopher Balzano as he powers up the new year looking at infamous cases of people believing video games to be haunted. There's old school standards like Berserker and modern ones like Bad Satan, and of course, the mother of them all...Polybius. We may even spend a little time trying to summon the ghost people are warning us about using a middle school ritual.     Episode 133...A Picture is Worth a Thousand Scares

    There's that perfect shot which captures the emotion of a ghost story and freezes it in our mind forever. Sometimes it's a picture snapped at the right time or a painting stealing a moment with a precise hand. We remember the famous Brown Lady of Raynham Hall and the Little Girl in the Burning Building. They are tangible proof of something our gut tells us is fact, but our mind argues is fiction.   What happens though when the image becomes the haunting? What if it perpetuates the haunted legend that has the whole town holding their breath when they pass by?   Join us live as we discuss two cases of the art becoming the story.     Be careful when you pick up the phone. Know who you're dialing, get the number right, and whatever you do...don't invite anything in.   The rumor is a ghost was contacted the first time Alexander Graham Bell used the phone, and it hasn't eased up since. The technology changes, but the creepy remains. From calls from the recently dead to urban legends about cursed numbers, the phone has always been a direct line to the spooky.
