    The Fruits Of The Spirit Part 8; The Power Of Faithfulness

    Welcome to episode 14 of Joyful In Hope! This week we conclude our look at the Fruits Of The Spirit. The Fruits Of The Spirit are Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness and Self-Control! This week we finish our look at the Fruits Of The Spirit with a discussion about Faithfulness. We will discuss how the world views Faithfulness and how Faithfulness goes beyond our dedication to our favorite coffee chain, or our favorite shoe company, it ultimately comes down to our Faithfulness in GOD and his never-ending Faithfulness towards us! I will share some stories from my personal journey and even talk about my faithfulness in coffee LoL. We will also look at some amazing scripture, 3 incredible Biblical stories and truths that emphasize GODS faithfulness towards us!     The Fruits Of The Spirit Part 7; The Power Of Self-Control

    Welcome to episode 13 of Joyful In Hope! This week we continue our look at the Fruits Of The Spirit and how studying them can strengthen our relationship with others and Christ! The Fruits Of The Spirit are Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control! This week we will be taking a look at Self-Control! We will talk about my personal experience with self-control and how in some areas I do well and other areas I really struggle. We will then look at what the world says about self-control, and it is saying a lot whether you see it or not. With all the worldly influences out there, it truly seems more and more difficult to exhibit self-control. The world truly has a "me" mentality and that makes it almost impossible in some circumstances to have self-control. But have faith that you can show self-control and fight the worldly influences just like Jesus fought the temptation of Satan in the wilderness. We will dive in and see how the Bible handles this topic and look to the word for guidance in our own lives.     Welcome to episode 12 of Joyful In Hope! This week we continue our look at the Fruits Of The Spirit and how studying and understanding them better can strengthen our relationship with Christ! The Fruits Of The Spirit are Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control! This week we will take a look at what the Biblical meaning of goodness is! We will talk about GODS goodness and how we all have an opportunity at showing everyone the goodness of GOD through our actions. You know, even in the darkest seasons of our lives GOD is always working for our good. I know it might not feel like it, but I have personally seen his goodness in numerous seasons of my life. In this episode I will share some of those experiences I have had seeing GODS goodness. We will also talk about how many of us might not notice all the good things GOD provides, but we if we can really focus in on everything GOD has gifted us starting with the beautiful world we live in and the air that fills our lungs everyday then we will be on our way at understanding the goodness of GOD and how amazing it truly is!     The Fruits Of The Spirit Part 5; The Power Of Gentleness

    Welcome to episode 11 of Joyful In Hope! This week we continue our look at the Fruits Of The Spirit and how we can access the power of Christ through a deep look at the Fruits Of The Spirit. Do you know the Fruits Of The Spirit? They are listing as Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control. This week we will continue our discussion with a focus on being gentle. This is includes be gentle with our actions and our words.  I know many of us, myself included struggle sometimes with finding those gentle words to use, or we find it difficult using a gentle approach in our day in a day out interactions. It has actually been said that being gentle, or showing gentleness is showing a sign of weakness. That is not the case, it is actually very difficult to be gentle all the time and it takes hard work and dedication to do so. That is why many of us have a hard time showing gentleness throughout our day. Being gentle and showing gentleness is actually a strength! Even though this is difficult if we keep a strong prayer life, and a focus on Christ we can be well on our way to showing others the gentleness that Christ has shown us! This week we will take a look at what the Bible has to say about gentleness and share some great examples of people showing gentleness and others that have struggled with it, including myself.  So, join me this week as we continue our discussion on the Fruits Of The Spirit and talk about the Power Of Gentleness. This week we continue our look at the Fruits Of The Spirit and how we can access the power of Christ through our study and understanding of the Fruits Of The Spirit. Remember the Bible describes the Fruits Of The Spirit as Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control.  This week are going to discuss the Power Of Peace. It truly seems like in today's world many people do not have or enjoy true peace. They have no sense of calmness. Between the 24/7 news cycle telling us about all the dark things going on in the world to the hustle and bustle of our busy lives many of us struggle finding and keeping our peace.  But being followers of Christ, we know he is the Prince Of Peace. If we can follow in his steps and work on being more Christ like we can work on eliminating many of our peace stealers. The Devil will work overtime to try to find ways to eliminate peace from our lives, but this is not how GOD intended it to be.  GOD wants us to have peace and calmness and to enjoy the world he gave us. This can be very difficult at times, but if we put our trust in him it can truly be something we can achieve.     Welcome to episode 9 of Joyful In Hope! This week we continue our look at the Fruits Of The Spirit and how we can access the power of Christ through our study and understanding of the Fruits Of The Spirit. The Bible lists the Fruits Of The Spirit as Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control. With many of us recently celebrating Valentine's Day our discussion this week is going to focus on the Power Of LOVE! Most of us would agree love is the most common emotion and feeling that all of us are chasing after. Whether it is finding the love of your life or enjoying the love you receive from your friends and family, love truly is the strongest of all our human emotions. With love being key to our daily lives, why do many of us struggle with finding, keeping or giving love. We must Love like GOD loves us. We must Love like Jesus loves us. That can be very difficult as this will also require us loving our enemies and those that might have done us wrong. But if we are looking to strengthen our walk with Christ this is one of the ways we can do so. GOD Loves us no matter what, and Jesus is Love. If we follow the guidance and teachings of the Bible, we will be well on our way to finding and receiving true love and that is the love found through a relationship with Jesus!
