National Treasure: Edge of History: A Post Show Recap

I was so excited to see recap pods for less mainstream shows, then I listened to 2 episodes (gave the benefit of the doubt). All the pod does is make fun of literally every scene, and in this snarky, entitled way that’s unbearable to get through. Jess’ whole schtick is especially hard on the ears.

Marisa and Jess are great hosts who recap each episode with a lot of detail and discussion. Especially Marissa drawing attention to representation of immigrant experiences which were some of the best parts of the show . I do wish they didn’t hate the show quite so much. Takes a lot of the fun out of listening to the podcasts.

We all love a good razz, and the hosts seem nice, but the details harped on, and the extent they are harped on land as oddly mean-spirited.

I like this national treasure show and was disappointed to hear so much negativity towards it. Yeah it’s far fetched but not too far from the movies. I listened to episode 8 and was hoping to hear some discussion about the show and what might happen next but my god it was 100% negative criticism
